14 best allen allen bow releases
Allen Allen is a brand known for its archery equipment and accessories, including bow releases. Bow releases, also known as release aids or archery releases, are devices designed to help archers improve accuracy and consistency when shooting a bow. Here's what you should know about Allen Allen bow releases:
Purpose: Bow releases are used by archers to release the bowstring smoothly and precisely, ensuring a clean and accurate shot. They offer several advantages over traditional finger shooting, including reduced string torque and enhanced accuracy.
Types of Releases: Allen Allen likely offers a range of release aids, including wrist-strap releases, handheld thumb releases, and back-tension releases. The choice of release type depends on the archer's preference and shooting style.
Wrist-Strap Releases: Wrist-strap releases are attached to the archer's wrist using a strap or buckle. They typically have a trigger that the archer can squeeze to release the bowstring. Some wrist-strap releases offer additional features like adjustable trigger sensitivity and length.
Thumb Releases: Thumb releases are held in the archer's hand and activated using the thumb. These releases often have a hook or a caliper-style mechanism that securely holds the bowstring until the archer decides to release it.
Back-Tension Releases: Back-tension releases are designed for archers who want to achieve a surprise release. They require the archer to use back tension or rotation to activate the release, promoting a smoother and less anticipatory shot.
Adjustability: Many Allen Allen bow releases are adjustable to accommodate individual preferences. This includes options to change trigger sensitivity, length, and other settings to achieve the desired shot execution.
Materials: Release aids are typically made from high-quality materials like aluminum or stainless steel to ensure durability and reliability. Some releases may have ergonomic handles for improved comfort during long shooting sessions.
Release Mechanism: The release mechanism of Allen Allen bow releases is designed to provide a crisp and consistent release of the bowstring, reducing the risk of string slap or erratic arrow flight.
Usage: Bow releases are commonly used by archers for target shooting, 3D archery, and hunting. They are especially popular among compound bow users who benefit from the precision and consistency these devices offer.
Training and Practice: Using a bow release may require some practice and adjustment to find the right settings for your shooting style. Archers often undergo training to ensure proper technique and effective use of the release.
Compatibility: When choosing a bow release, it's important to ensure that it is compatible with your specific bow model and setup. Some releases may be designed for certain bow types or draw lengths.
In summary, Allen Allen bow releases are archery accessories designed to improve accuracy and consistency for archers using compound bows. These releases come in various styles and offer adjustability to suit individual preferences. Whether for target shooting or hunting, a well-chosen bow release can enhance an archer's overall performance and shooting experience.

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this fit an Oneida Osprey which is a lever action bow |
Answer: | Yes, it sometimes does and sometimes doesn’t. I lubed it but still isn’t consistent. I just got used to manually returning the hook after a shot. |
Question: | Does this tan model definitely have a shoulder strap and does it have straps inside to hold the bow in place |
Answer: | Yes that is what it is designed for. ... |
Question: | WIll this bow fit the Hoyt Nitrum 34" ? My compact plano hard case wont fit it |
Answer: | If your talking about making it fold back along your wrist, just keep flipping it back and forth it gets easier. Mines was really stiff at first too. Although you don't want it to get real loose or it won't stay locked back. |
Question: | What are the inner dimensions |
Answer: | I have shot tons of arrows with this release and my loop still looks good. Even if it damages them faster I still would buy another. Very comfy , reliable and nice to shoot with. |

In small spaces (e.g., living room), people can hear you. For live performance, you need an amp. The better the amp, the more realistic it sounds. I use a Roland keyboard amp. |

The Tru-Fire Difference
When Tru-Fire designs a new product, we want to make certain it gives you, the consumer, years of trouble-free use and dependability. One of the first issues we address is using the same material on the internal firing mechanism. This is important because when different metals with different hardnesses are combined in a firing mechanism, premature wear can and often times will occur. Be careful, other release companies firing mechanisms are made from different metals altogether. Tru-Fire, on the other hand, designs firing mechanisms to utilize the same metal and hardness on all of our release firing components.During the development of a new release, we test the new model at a staggering 200 pounds for 20,000 continuous cycles. By testing our products at this extreme level of weight and cycles, we are insured that you the consumer will have a release that will not fail you.

Made of an aerospace-grade aluminum, the Patriot Flex's smaller, more streamlined head features an adjustable responsive trigger with increased holding strength.
Adjustable Trigger Travel
With generous and precise adjustment, the strong 1/2" nylon connecting strap comes contained in a cut-to-length, protective rubber Flex Tube to add rigidity for easier use. Hook 'n' loop style closure system on power strap for easy on/off and fast adjustment. For right- or left-hand archers.
Upgraded Performance
With a newly redesigned body and trigger, the Patriot offers a dual Caliper Design that will increase any archers accuracy and precision. Adds comfort and strength to the release. The Tru Fire Patriot FLEX release is also constructed from high-grade aluminum and fits both left and right handed shooters.
Vigorous Testing
During the development of a new release, we test the new model at a staggering 200 pounds for 20,000 continuous cycles. By testing our products at this extreme level of weight and cycles, we are insured that you the consumer will have a release that will not fail you.
Premium Quality
When we say that our releases can handle excessive amounts of weight and years of use, we can actually prove it! With our exclusively designed release tester, we can automatically load onto the release, rotate the head (if applicable), apply pressure and fire the trigger in mere seconds, via pneumatics.
