Question:	Will these fit my 5/16 traditional only carbon shafts
Answer:	yes
Question:	Can these be welded to an iron gate ?...what are they made of
Answer:	I don't know what metal they are made of, but I can tell you that they don't blunt, bend, or shatter even when your grandson misses the hay bale and hits the side of the shed (a rather hard, aged wood). He missed a lot and they're still good to go. They are tough, so I don't see any reason why they couldn't be welded. Then again, I've never welded anything.

Answer:	Yes, they are standard. I don't know if they are 6-32 but they fit every arrow inset that I have without issue.

Answer:	As long as your aiming correctly and not down you should be good. At most get a wrist guard of leather or chain mail. I found some nice and well priced leather ones on Amazon that I will use for bow shooting

Answer:	these are for hunting not target. If you are going to target shoot. Get the ones with field point tip for targets. We have only used these a few times. So I have no idea how long the feathers will hold up. They are very stiff though.

Answer:	about an inch I think, maybe a little less. I use them for hunting small game and they do just fine. if you have a powerful enough bow you don't need razor edges.
