These are also probably a bit light spined for a compound bow. Compounds have much higher draw weight then recurve and need stiffer arrow shafts because of that. |

Check with Ellsworth as, they've got everything. I've bonded rubber sheeting as well as MLV to MLV to bonding PTFE etc. As long as the substrate is prepped properly using either a solvent or a base or acid etchant per the OEM TDS for a given adhesive to material matrix - you can bond anything to anything. |

A lot of paint cans say - suitable for childrens toys, if I was you I would look for one that states that, then it should be your best option for the helmet. My thoughts only. |

| Answer: | I do plan to hunt with these.But... The shafts are fine I have shot them couple hundred times. But when I received them. They were wraps in bubble wrap very tight. The Fletching is very soft and they did not relax to a normal vane shape. Some were so compressed they did not return to normal shape. So what I did was to remove their Fletching and replaced them with four 2 " vanes. Which help correct the other problem, the Nocks. They are loose in the shaft. Shooting with the original 3 vane you will run into a problem when you went to shoot them. I placed a drop of glue which corrected that. Bottom line, it cost about 30 cents per arrow to reflects and I feel these arrows are of good value and will work fine as a hunting or target arrow. Hope this helps. |
