Answer:	I don't know, they interchange with other heads- standard size. I don't have my screw gauge handy.

Answer:	Compound bows usually need shorter length shafts for better performance (around 28 inch but depends on your draw length) although these will still work fine. These are also probably a bit light spined for a compound bow. Compounds have much higher draw weight then recurve and need stiffer arrow shafts because of that.

Answer:	As long as the nock is the inside diameter, if your arrow is say a 350 spine with 244. Your nock rating should be 244. Your arrow should have spine information if not take your arrows to a local sport shop they can get you fitted without any issues.

Answer:	You should not. These are spines are 500. If you are at 70 pounds you likely need a 300 to 400 spine, depending. Google “arrow spine selection” and determine the right spine based on your tip weight, draw weight, and draw length.

Answer:	As a Archery instructor I can tell you that yes you should have no issues with them, just don't cut them as it changes the spine.

Question:	The description says that these arrows are for a 40-60lb bow. Is that just a suggestion? Can these arrows be shot from a 24lb bow
Answer:	I shoot a compound at about 45 lb draw weight and find that arrows tuned to my bow are quite a bit stiffer than these are. These shafts are relatively flexible and don't shoot as well at 45 lbs as stiffer arrows do. When arrows don't match the draw weight, arrows will tend to group left (too soft) or right (too stiff), and the angles into the target become inconsistent. I will be giving these to a friend who shoots a lower draw weight since they are decent but don't match me well. My guess is that these arrows would be best shot at 20-30 lbs and would work well for you. People shooting above 40 would be better off with a different option.

Answer:	The manchu recurve bows don't have a nock. As a matter of fact none of the chinese bows have nocks on them. You have to measure the nock distance on your serving string and put it on yourself. Also, I would stay away from the manchu style bows and stick with the chinese hun longbows or horsebows. The problem with the manchu style bows are the strings are hardly ever centered on the bows and the upper siyahs are twisted during shipping. Moreover, the handshock is very strong if you aren't using the correct arrow weight. Over time your bow will break. If you are intent on getting a manchu style bow, I would suggest Jia Zhiwei's manchu style bows. The quality is better and the string aligns with the bow but they are up there in price. Question:	why the unusual ends? is there some history behind them
Answer:	I don't quite understand the question if you mean the bow being exposed to moister or getting ripped off. If it's the former, then I wouldn't expose it to water. If it's the later, most bows of this particular mongol style are not built correctly. I received the bow with the bow string offset too far to the right. After talking to an associate of mine, he stated that most mongol style bows out of China are not built to specs. The majority of the bow strings aren't centered properly which doesn't allow proper arrow flight dynamics after release. If you're looking for a mongol/manchu style bow. I would recommend a jia zhi wei manchu qing bow It's more expensive but worth the price. It's very accurate, robust and packs a punch when hitting the bullseye at 25 yards with 560 grain 33 inch arrow. As for the 55 inch bow I received from that company, it was a piece of junk. If I tried to return that bow, it would have cost me more time, money and headaches. I hope this helps you.

Question:	Can the nicks be changed for laminated nocks
Answer:	They may be too thick for shaft of arrows. Most arrows I have seen are 1/4 inch. But with wood may have to be larger. I know you could make an arrow from these just not sure if it woukdnt be too big. I tecomnend going to a box store like home depot or walmart and looking at the ones there to help you decide.
