User questions & answers
Question: | Why did you choose this particular model over the PR1000? Trying to decide between this one and the PR1000. Thank you for your help |
Answer: | The BLAZE, you can upgrade to 410 lbs of resistance. The PR1000 You cannot upgrade so you are forever stuck with only 210 lbs of resistance and must buy another machine if you want more weight. More weight builds more muscle then that burns more calories even during rest orif you were home convalescing from an illness and unable to work out for a while. For women, weight training strengthens bones which is an issue during menopause brought on with age or young women who had a medically necessary hysterectomy. Fights diabetes too because a harder workout forces the sugar from the bloodstream into the cell where it belongs. |
Question: | what is the difference between bowflex 3000 and bowflex blaze? which is better |
Answer: | The main difference between the Blaze and the 3000 is that the 3000 has a no-change cable system, so you can quickly go between exercises. The Blaze has a horizontal stand instead of a vertical one, allowing you to do more exercises, but you must change the cables when switching between different types of exercises. |
Question: | I am confused as to the actual size of this item. what are the actual dimensions, and what is the height with the lat pull down bar in place |
Answer: | All the information said it was only 84" in height so I bought it after I measured that my garage door height was over 85", almost 86" in height. However, when folded up it is actually about 86" so make sure you measure first and have at least 87" in clearance. |
Question: | Once you start hanging clothes on it, how well does it hold up |
Answer: | Lol, mine turned into a Spider playhouse, complete with webs & buds, lol! See, I got sick & couldn't use it anymore. Only paid 400.00 used, like new at the time. If I clean it all up & wax/Armour all it it'll be like new again for sure. Was a great machine for cutting up & getting in some serious exercise, compared to just walking &/or using a bench, dumbbells & calisthenics-the old fashioned way those in prison still get huge & cut doing. All of these fancy & fancier machines have their pluses & minuses. But the bottom line is all you really need is the old fashioned "tools" & exercises, which not only harden & grow/cut your muscles, but also make you toughen up-because they're raw, uncomfortable & the sky is the limit. It takes creativity. Arnold & Lou never had these "girlie-man" machines. All the cut up Boxers had pull-up bars, crappy Duct taped bags, tires, ropes, sledge hammers, turned over heavy mattresses, used chains, All in many different ways. They climbed tall fences (nobody can do that today!)-these created hard bodied, real toughened up MEN! Ever since the first machines came out, like "The Nautilus" (lol) & that stiff piece of crap I can't remember, men became weak. The reason we see giants today is STEROIDS, & HGH, plus a multitude of legal, long term eventually toxic "poisons." Today you can get twice the size in 1/2 the time, & be a fake pussy "strong man/tough guy." Even effeminate guys who never could do an old school workout can get the body they want, for tons of $$ when the old school guys did it & were broke. Ok, times & technology, & the training equipment & drugs etc. are still hard & produce much faster results on THE BODY. But for 1 week just try an old school training routine. If you're very advanced, you won't be able to get thru the week without feling broken-sore where you were no longer-or never before-getting sore. It makes boys into real men. It works the MIND to the extreme. And the payoff is so much bigger for your mind, & in turn your overall well-being & self-worth, you'll never go back to a gym, use another "Fad/g" machine or station, & feel what's been "missing" all the time you were making gains when in reality your mind hadn't toughened up or made the improvements you thought it made. Guys like Arnold, Lou, Frank Zane, Franco Colombo, Robbie Robinson-I'd put them against ANYONE today in a Tough man contest. The new guys would all end up in tears! That, I can unquestionably guarantee! But hey, all you want is a good body, The old guys took time off & grew! But go ahead, buy your bowflex, Xenon home wall pulley workout machine, or a Christy Brinkley/Chuck Norris body weight pulley platform machine I'm too lazy to Google the name & get the amazing results (Lmao) they both got after 20+ years of advertising & supposedly using them. They haven't improved, they've both greatly declined! And that's what happens soon after you stop using Bows, stations, drugs, new crap, & even gym equipment. If it's easier, more comfy & nice & clean & shiny, you'll become just like all of them when you stop-Spider webs & clothes hangers. Peace! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it possible to buy replacement foam pads for the leg restraint |
Answer: | Once the video is connected After a switch I experience no latency. Switching can take a few seconds. |
Question: | What is the real length of the bench in flat position |
Answer: | Hello, if the display card and cable allow, it can support up to 120Hz. If it is 144hz, it will be unstable. However, in December, we will have a new dual monitor KVM which can connect 4 computers. By then, 144hz will not be a problem. |
Question: | How sturdy is this bench? Will it wobble a lot when I'm doing dips on the side of it |
Answer: | to answer your question, yes, but i had to try all different kinds of adapters. I did eventually find some information from them on line, that suggested a couple of adapters available from amazon, i ordered one, and it works. So it won't work with just any adapter. There is one issue, with the pc i put the adapter on, if i leave it idle for a period of time, it drops the usb connection(i use a wireless mouse and keyboard), if you use physical, it may not be a issue. But in order to reset it, i have to power down the KVM (or the pc) and power it back on. a little frustrating, but not the end of the world. |
Question: | What are the degrees for incline and decline |
Answer: | I leave mine powered on. If both PC's go into sleep mode, then it is not possible to wake them from the attached keyboard or mouse; you need to wake the PC locally. With the PC's on it takes about 4s to switch between, which is amazing. Very stable device with no lag. |
