Answer:	I have your same numbers and got the 16, for the same reason, but they’re huge! I had to exchange them for a 14oz. Edward is right, the heaviest size is best, but it was too big for me. I say try the 14, and if you think you can handle the 16, exchange it.

Answer:	They have since changed the title to remove wool & now the description says acrylic with wool lining. After using them several times, I do believe that this is indeed the case. It isn't a scratchy wool though. Remember everyone: wool regulates body temperature, is anti-microbial and anti-bacterial, & anti-odor, & it can absorb large amounts of moisture without feeling wet at all! These are good gloves!

Answer:	I've never used in sand but I can't imagine that they wouldn't work as good in sand as the do in snow and they work exceptionally well in snow.

Answer:	Yes! Last night I was out on the ice road here in Bethel, AK. A truck got stuck trying to leave the ice road and go onto shore. The area he used had a thin layer of ice over water and the front tires were stuck in the water and just spinning. The back tires were barely touching the ground and spinning when he tried to move. I tried to pull him out but didn't work and then I remembered! The portable tow truck that was in the back. We put them under the tires and as soon as they touched the track a little the truck bucked back and was out! It sent these skidding forward towards the front tires but they worked well. This is on our frozen river that we use for road during freezes. These worked pretty impressively. Everyone that saw were amazed and will probably buy these too. Answer:	The gloves I received were more of a spandex acrylic blend. Better than nothing in cold weather, but definitely not as warm as wool. When I ordered these, the description said they had a wool lining. Mine did NOT have a wool lining. I contacted the seller and was given a discount for the error in description. The good thing about these is the grips in the palm area that make it easier to grip a steering wheel. The bad thing...not as warm as I had expected.

Answer:	I carry mail and walk 10+ miles a day with these in 28-32 degree weather comfortably. If you are active they are awesome. Also good for driving.

Answer:	Not sure about this product since I have not used it. I would use a spray polyurethane and apply it in a number of coats. It made yellow a little bit with time. I make totems with glass and wood and use spray polyurethane often and it holds up well so far outside.

Answer:	Ok, I just read the garb on the can that I bought and it does not say it is safe for childrens toys. I use that as an indication that it is probably not safe to have in skin contact or be used on something that could possibly come in contact with the mouth if the paint was to peel off. A lot of paint cans say - suitable for childrens toys, if I was you I would look for one that states that, then it should be your best option for the helmet. My thoughts only.

Answer:	I purchased the 6 oz. gloves for my son a year ago. He is now 7 yrs old and weighs 50 lbs. They fit him a little big last year (but still totally usable) and much better this year. Answer:	Saying they are water resistant is a stretch and they are most definitely not waterproof. The touch screen fingertips have zero water resistantance. Placing the glove in water for even a couple seconds and the water soaks through the rest of the glove.

Answer:	Yes they are, but they are not for 20, 25 degree weather. I found that our here in New York, while the temp was in the upper 30's & 40's the Gloves were great, but when that New York Winter started to remind all of us it gets cold in the city the Gloves failed in the teens & The 20's.
