Answer:	I had the same issue/question when I just got mine....no where in the manual does it explain this. To switch, with the unit OFF press and hold the MEM button for a few seconds. The device will turn on with the 1st person icon selected. Press the MEM button again to toggle to the 2nd person then press the SET button. Now when you press the START button to fully turn it on to take a reading, it will be listing the 2nd person's memory slot. It will stay on this 2nd one until you change it back. Not intuitive at all, it really needs to be in the manual. As an aside....the manual lists the companies website for support but it is woeful as there is nothing on there like FAQ's or updated manuals. I even called their 800 number from the manual several times, chose customer service and it was never answered.

What need to be noticed meausre your blood pressure?

1. Avoid eating, smoking as well as all forms of exertion directly before the measurement. All these factors influence the measurement result. Try and find time to relax by sitting in an armchair in a quite atmosphere for about ten minutes before the measurement.
2. Measure always on the same arm (normally left).
3. Attempt to carry out the measurements regularly at the same time of day, since the blood-pressure changes during the course of the day.

• How to set display between mmHg and kPa?

---To press the TIME button for at least 4 seconds firstly, the user icon will blink. Then press TIME button again the display now indicates the set year/date/time, but you don't need to set the time. Continue to press the TIME button again until the two "0.0" symbols show on the right. Then press the "MEMORY" button on the right to set the unit of measurement, it will show "0"

• How can I turn off the date and time on the display?

---You can remove batteries or cut off power to turn off it. Since the blood pressure is low consumption, we do no suggest you to take out batteries

or cut off power in order to save your readings correctly with a date and time.

• Why the device frequently fails to measure the blood pressure values, or the values measured are too low (too high)?

Answer:	Greetings ... Reviewer, I can not say for sure. Good question for the manufacturer to answer since they do not mention washing in reading the product features. Which is why you asking this question. If, I were to hazarded an educated guess, I would say maybe 1-2 times at most. I believe this pad is meant as a use and through-away product. The black poly-material appears to be glued on a textured foam, but if washed 'may' come loose from the foam. Secondly, the bottom uses a none skid rubber which if washed 'may' collect particles in the wash-drying cycles, and would make it less skid resistant. May I say, my experience with THIS pad, in my opinion, is it seems too hard-uncomfortable toward resting my wrist on the pad for extended computer time. I would suggest ordering a cloth bead pad, I really-really like it ability to conform to my wrist. It claims to be washable in normal wash-dry cycle. The bead wrist pad does take up a 4x6 inch foot print in the area I use for the mouse movement, but definitely more comfortable, than the black wrist rest pad you are considering. SacMac

Answer:	I did. First with one L and later with 6 L. Both are reporting Normal EKG with multiple pre ventricular contractions abnormalities documented with another EKG taken in the Hospital and readed by a cardiologist. I returned the one L monitor and I still have the 6 L.

Answer:	To Narq: Sorry me bucko, but the three limb leads (leads I,II and III) of an ECG are achieved using three points of contact, plus the three augmented leads(Leads aVF, aVR and aVF -are calculated and require only three electrodes to derive these. Four limb electrodes are used in a standard ECG, but the right leg is only used as a reference (ground). Thus, six views, which for some reason, we decided to call “leads”, can be derived from three electrodes, which also are called “leads” (because that is common language for “wire”. So, one can use three, physically separate electrode contacts to give a 6 (six) lead (views) ECG. I am a critical nurse with many years experience in cardiac electrophysiology and many years in medical device industry as researcher and educator. I understand EXACTLY how they can rightfully make this claim. NB -don’t work for this manufacturer and have no relationship to the seller or developer. Perhaps your RN wife only read the description of the 1L version, as previously mentioned. I would politely suggest you retract your previous statement in response to the question, because it is based on your misunderstanding of the device. To Narq: Please read the above. Remember, a 12-lead ECG is derived from only 10 wires/electrodes and can certainly be derived from only 9 wires/electrodes using Wilson’s Central Terminal. See above for the rest of the explanation. Answer:	They can be due to narrower arteries at the wrist, that are also closer to the skin, than theu are in the upper arm. Best to take your wrist monitor to Dr office and take a reading to compare to theirs.
Question:	Manufacturer: why readings much lower than the dr. office? not even close! is there a setting to adjust this
Answer:	So, do you take your monitor to Drs office to check? BP & heart rate vary as you know depending on activity. In Drs office, there's always white coat syndrome, so you may read a bit higher than at home. Wrist monitors, like mine as well, will give the Dr an estimate of your readings to make an educated decision regarding med changes if needed. I keep a log. Take my BP 3x daily w/ heart rate. Those reading caused my Dr to lower my BP meds. I've been doing great since! So don't worry about the fluctuations between your readings and the Drs. Also, check your batteries. May be getting low. Answer:	If you have another smartphone aside, please make sure the Bluetooth of the smartphone turn off , or maybe your smartphone can’t search the watch “V2” in the Bluetooth menu because of the signal interrupt.

Answer:	Yes, why wouldn't you? It doesnt shock you or give off a magnetic field large enough to cause any problems with a pacemaker. If you can use a cell phone then you can use this

Answer:	No. Only 2 lead. Equivalent to lead “1” on EKG when you hold it with both hands.
Question:	Does this device tell you if you had a heart attack in the past as a regular ecg does to doctors. does this instrument provide that info to the user
Answer:	If someone is suspecting that they may have sustained a heart attack in the past it would be much safer to go directly to their own doctor. If the heart attack is recent there are blood tests that can be done to verify heart damage. Even the ekg machine used in a doctors office wouldn't necessarily pick up on a past heart event.
Question:	I realize this device was not intended for this, but has anyone ever tried this device on a dog using the chest sensor? If you have, how did it work
Answer:	The device has to have two bare-skin contact points (on the same person) to detect the heart rhythm. I doubt you could get that on a dog. Also, I don’t know if the waveform would be the same as a human. Perhaps it could read ‘beats per minute’ accurately.
