Answer:	I have the sticky tabs mounted on the computer so they overhang the screen. The filter lifts in and out quickly. I can easily remove the filter temporarily when I need to be able to share my laptop screen with others.

Answer:	When I bought it, I think the battery was already old lasted for few days. I changed the battery and put a new one. That was in August and we are now in November and it's still working well. So yes it does last.
