Question:	What size shoes is the Size "Big-Tall" for
Answer:	I have size 12 shoes. I ordered 12-15 size. When I got them there were no size markings on the pack anywhere!!! Fit tight!! I returned them.

Answer:	So far no. I walk between 5-8 miles a day wearing them and there is no sign of wear in heel or toe. However they are not extra cushioned there either so if your heel is loose in the shoe you may get more wear than me

Answer:	The inside circumference of the top band is just 6 inches when unstretched (that's for the size 12-15). My calf is 15.5 inches. If I pull these socks all the way up, I might as well apply a tourniquet. I wear them below the calf where they must stretch to only 12 inches and they still leave a deep mark. If your calf is any larger than 12 inches, I'd guess you will find these uncomfortably tight.

Answer:	WANDER Cushion crew socks have been my choice for years and i have worn them with sneakers but mostly with boots or tennis shoes. I double up on these socks for my walking shoes and wearing two pair of socks has yielded no blisters in over 20 years of 4 mph walking. I prefer over the cotton crew for performance athletic socks!

Answer:	I do not know if these are the "best brand". I like these socks because they control the water weight that collects in my feet and lower legs because i sit in a wheel chair all day. The colors and durability is good in my opinion and i like them better than actual pressure socks from the doctor.

Answer:	The problem with sizing by shoe and calf circumference is that it does not take calf length into account. I am in their "Large" category (shoe size 10 and calf size 15), but I order down to their "medium" size. However, even it comes up over my knee and i have to roll the top over to wear it. I'm 5'7" tall and have a pretty average build. These socks must be made for really tall people and the models they use must be well over 6' tall. So, if you are a tall person, they may fit according to their sizing chart, but for the average person, no. I strongly suggest that the manufacturer incorporate calf length into their sizing chart, as a few of the other manufacturers do.

Answer:	I would get XL, in fact, I intend to order another in XL I bought size L My calf is 18" and it's tighter than I'd like. I wear size 11 shoe. The shoe size wouldn't be a problem. An XL will fit you and I think it will give you the compression you need. The important compression should be around the calf, —which is more important than the foot in this case.
Question:	are these thicker than your average cotton athletic sock? I'll be wearing cleats, which are on the snug side
Answer:	I'm also an 8 1/2 shoe, and I have the small and medium. The difference is more in the length of your calf. I'm 5' 8" and I have average length calves - when I buy boots, the only issue I ever have is that my calves are muscular so sometimes boots don't zip up, but the height is never an issue. I love these socks. I've tried others, and these are much softer and easier to wear, especially with boots! I'd say go with medium or large; either way you'll be very happy
