Answer:	You can add/remove water to change the resistance, but obviously that's a huge pain. The answer I've read elsewhere is that the "right" way to change rowing intensity is to change your pace (just like you would in a real boat). I keep the water at the max level and just row faster for more intense, which has worked just fine.

Answer:	The advertised max inseam is 38" not 49". The 38" also does not take into consideration that you will be wearing shoes when using the rower. Thicker soles will quickly shorten that inseam. Also, the foot rests pivot by 3-4 inches which will shorten the available inseam. I have a 36" inseam and find that I can only full extend my legs when I've removed the rubber stopper plate from the rail and restrict the foot rests from moving. However, you have to be careful not to strike the back support plate with the seat carriage wheels or you will crack or damage them.

So you will need like 4 tablets to treat the water in rowing mach tank. Don't use bleach, as it will cloud the plastic water tank. The product manual from LF is very sketchy about the water tablets, btw.. And the people that answer the phones at LF are nice and friend;y, but clueless about technical questions. This is all assuming what you are buying from Amazon is the LF product., I ordered mine direct from LF. If what Amazon is selling is some sort of third party substitute, good luck with that. - man who rows in place

Answer:	No it is not broken. The resistance is 1 to 14 and if you have good muscle strength it will seem like it's not very resistive, so increase the length of the workout. You will find it does give you a good workout but if you're looking for muscles like weights that's not going to happen
