Answer:	if your stem is round, sure. The mounting plate has cutouts running vertically and horizontally, fit well on my wife's threadless stem. My road bike stem is an old aero-style Deda Murex which has a pointy cross section, so the cycle computer went on the handlebar.

Answer:	I ended up using some Velcro on my rear hub mounted sensor. I have a SRAM DD3 IGH which is crazy fat. The included rubber strap broke and rather than keeping buying those, I thought I'd try Velcro. I've ridden about 30 miles since doing that and the sensor has stayed mounted. Hope this helps!

HOW TO INSTALL

• Twist the battery door with a coin in OPEN direction, open the battery door, take out the insulating sheet and then load the battery.
• Red light indicates speed mode，blue light indicates cadence mode.

2. Installation for Speed Mode/ Cadence mode

• Speed Mode: Buckle the curved rubber mat onto the back of the sensor, then bind the sensor with the large rubber band onto the wheel axle.
• Cadence mode: Buckle the flat rubber mat onto the back of the sensor, then bind the sensor with the small rubber band onto the pedal crank.
• This one do not need magnet,easy to install. Switch the mode by removing the battery and load it again.

Question:	Will this work with off road bikes
Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by the exposed locknut? The main reason to use this skewer as opposed to the one that came with your bike is that cone shape of the heads fit securely into the Kurt Kinetic clamp on your stationary trainer. I was able to use the skewer that came with my bike (Navarro carbon fiber with SRAM Rival components) it just didn't seat as nicely. And I have no problem using the Kurt Kinetic skewer with my bike, the only issue is aesthetic in that the components are black and the Kurt skewer is chrome.

Answer:	Well this is a custom skewer for the Kurt Kinetic trainer. Your bike wheel may already have a skewer on the rear wheel for quick release. That skewer can be changed with this one by following their (Kurt Kinetic) directions so that the possibility of the bike slipping off of the Kurt Kinetic trainer is eliminated. Last thing you want is to be going 30 to 40 miles an hour on your stationary set up and the wheel slips off the trainer you could crash into objects in the home and break them and could suffer an injury.
