Answer:	I have several sets and have used them on my knees for years. You need a large so the cold part of the wrap can envelope the leg. It will also make it easier for the velcro straps to attach to the fabric covering the wrap so it stays in contact with the leg. Further note: you really can't walk with the wrap on - it is too heavy.

Answer:	It depends upon the model/style that you purchased. Some models are completely enclosed and can not be opened to remove the gel packs. Some have velcro closures that are easy to open and remove the gel pack. I prefer the styles that are completely enclosed, and they last for for years.

Answer:	Yes you can use this it basically will wrap ice around the entire knee. I have this one because it runs a little bit small and I use it right below the knee around the calf. I use a different one to go around my knee because my knee is a little bit larger due to multiple surgeries and what I'm trying to recover from. so this one runs a little bit on the smaller side it's probably more designed for a woman but a small to average size man could use it very effectively as well. I've used it on my knee in the pinch but I prefer the one that's a little bit larger.

Answer:	Yes, the seam is flat and double stitched. I wore mine every day for 9 months. The seams to become a point of failure but you can hand stitch them back together.

Question:	I need one for both legs which one I need to buy
Answer:	I received mine thru my orthopedic physian who recommended the knee brace I needed and health insurance covered the cost. I purchased a back-up brace on Amazon at a reasonable price.
Question:	I need one for right knee. Which one should I get
Answer:	JLS answer is wrong. I have the same inside pain to right knee and I ordered the one JLS said medial right/lateral left. The correct one is actually medial left/lateral right. Going to the DonJoy website clearly states that the silicone oval pad should press against the pain side. The medial left/lateral right has this pad on the inside for the right knee and would therefore be on the outside for the left knee.

Answer:	LEFT KNEE PAIN - If the pain is on the inside of your left knee, choose the Medial Left/Lateral Right brace. In this instance, the hinge of the brace would be located on the outside of your leg. If the pain is on the outside of your left leg, choose the Medial Right/Lateral Left brace. In this instance, the hinge of the brace would be located on the inside of your leg. RIGHT KNEE PAIN - If the pain is on the inside of your right leg, choose the Medial Right/Lateral Left brace. In this instance, the hinge of the brace would be located on the outside of your leg. If the pain is on the outside of your right leg, choose the Medial Left/Lateral Right brace. In this instance, the hinge of the brace would be located on the inside of your leg.

Question:	Are these 3 individual wraps or is it one unit with all three connected
Answer:	It is one individual unit, but one half is cut into the 3 strips that you wrap around to hold it in place - like a hand with only 3 fingers. :) My review quite hasn't posted yet (I did it just before this), but I included a photo. Note: the cooling pad attached in my picture does not come with it.
