Answer:	The grit is the coarseness of the sand paper. The lower the number (example 25-40 grit is coarser than 180 grit). If you have soft wood or finishing something you will need a higher number grit and if you have hard wood a lower number of grit. I hope this helps you:)

Answer:	It is recommended that you order the next size up from your waist size. The 42 inches for a 42 size belt would measure 42" from the start of the leather (no buckle) to the center hole.

Answer:	I would go about 46. Thankfully, this belt is fully adjustable. For selecting a belt "length" in general, the rule of thumb is to take your pant size and go up one. So if you wear a 52, you would get the belt that is listed as 54". If you wear a 42, you would go for the belt that is listed as 44".

Answer:	The width is 1 15/32", and the thickness is an eighth of an inch... it does not get caught up in Dickey's pants or short pant belt loops. Hope this was helpful...

Answer:	I am basically the same I’m at 28.5 and I saw I was between basically xs and small. I got both to compare since they have the lifetime warranty I want to be sure to get one that will be around for a long time with me. So after trying them both on I quickly realized that small had way too much extra material. Go with extra small I still have about 5 holes left in it when I wear it. Anyone in the same size range should go with the extra small!

Answer:	Please do expound upon this question. I'm sure there's a logical explanation as to why you would want to remove the buckle from this belt, or any belt for that matter, but I simply can not imagine what possible reason you could have for asking this question. I've seen many a reversible belt/belt buckle and in the Army we had removable brass buckles on our dress uniform belts but what reason could you possibly have for wanting a belt with a removable buckle??

Answer:	on the backside you can flip the "lid". you will see where it pivots. there are two pivot points - use the back one. it pops open.

Answer:	Mine was in USA. Good belt. Wide. It takes a bit of practice to learn the buckle since it’s plastic but be patient. I do airport security and it gets me through the metal detectors. Very strong

Answer:	I think it probably would hold a hammer, but this belt is not really designed to be a work belt. It is designed for passing through airport security without a problem, and not having to have to remove the belt to go through the metal detector. Even for that it is not very useful because airport security officers still required me to take it off.

Answer:	The belt is made so that it can be shortened to your liking. I have about a 30 or 32; as stock it is way to long for me. So I have a sturdy scissors tailored to make it to your body. I left enough length so that the belt (after cutting) it will extend though two belt loops loops. I cut it rounded. Yes, cut and use heat to meld the end cut.
