This particular one is very firm and dense and at first is uncomfortable to use but helped some. I have since seen medium and softer foam rollers on u tube that are said to work just as well. I would ask your doctor about using this one on your back as it is really firm and dense. As I said above, I specifically bought it to work on my sciatica. So I would suggest looking up u tube videos for back pain using a foam roller before purchasing and again clearing it with your doctor to avoid further pain. |

It’s probably coated nylon to make it waterproof and sweat proof and to give it some puncture resistance. Mine is fine but maybe they have changed materials since I purchased mine. |

My whole house is tile and i was starting insanity and T25. the first day they slid around a bit but then i put a few strips of double sided tape down and it hasnt moved an inch in 60 days of insanity and none have separated. i did end up having to put duct tape in a 4' x 4' section in the middle because of my shoes were ripping the foam while doing burpees and suicides but its in great shape now. |
