Answer:	yes just one pair. if you are looking for socks to wear with boots, esp winter boots, I'd look at Thorlo's instead, these are very thin socks. This is fine if your shoes already fit tight, I suppose, but there's not enough padding to protect most of your foot, esp if you are older and are losing your natural fat pad, which happens as we all age. Thorlo's may cost a bit more (about $12 per pair) but they will last for years, decades, even. I have some that are over 15yrs old. These Fox River socks will not last that long, they are pilling after only a few washes. Hope this helps
