Answer:	This product is basically a spring and is not directly adjustable, HOWEVER, you can vary how easy or difficult it is to compress, with legs, by changing the starting position. Between the knees is harder than at different distances closer to hips (changing how a lever and leverage works). For that and exercises other than leg for inner thigh, you can ALSO vary the amount that you compress, that is how close you bring the two ends towards each other AND by the speed with which you exercise / OR slow and hold, or some combination thereof. This particular model (purple) has somewhat shorter "arms" so if you want to vary the amount of tension required to compress, get a second version with longer arms. I prefer this version to the original on which it is based, partly because it costs less (being smaller) and because lots of very fast repetitions (1000s) very frequently can cause metal fatigue, meaning broken. Answer:	I use it as 2 folded which is what it looks like in the pics. If you choose to use it as 1 layer it can cover most of your head.

Answer:	Not sure on uv rating. After washing them they are so difficult to fold and overlap again. I would not buy them again.

Answer:	Depending on how big your ears are you most likely could cover most of them. As far as normal use I like them. The fit under my bike helmet well.
