1. Do I need to connect the circuit breaker? - Yes! The 50 AMP circuit breaker that comes with the motor will help protect your motor from electrical damage.
2. Is this motor waterproof? - The head w/ handle is not waterproof. Light rain is fine but if there is heavy rain, it's submerged or sprayed directly with a hose, this will cause issues.
3. What gauge wire are the battery cables and how long are they? - This motor comes with 5ft 6in 10 AWG cables.
4. How long does this motor run for? - This entirely depends on the battery capacity or Amperage Hour Rating (Ah) on the battery you are using. We recommend a 50Ah battery at minimum. This will power the motor for roughly 1hr at speed 5 continuously and 3hrs at speed 3.

Answer:	Yes This snorkel set is great for outfitting the whole family. With a variety of different colors you are sure to find something for the whole family. And it comes with fully adjustable head straps and a high-grade silicon face skirt which molds to fit virtually any face shape.
Question:	Is there a battery terminal kit recommended for this type post
Answer:	The snorkel has purge valve, the mask don't. How to clean wather inside the snorkel? Water that leaks inside the snorkel tube will collect at the bottom, where there is a little valve. With a light exhale, there is enough force for the water to just drain down through the valve (instead of having to blow it back up through the tube with a huge gust of air). You can do this with a normal exhale, from the position you’re in, without having to chuck your head back or do any crazy aerobatics (as you might have to with a snorkel without a purge valve).
Question:	is this a deep cycle battery
Answer:	Yes, our mask will keep anti-fog for 2 years if you didn't damage the anti-fog film. And lease remove this coating from the inside of the lens, or you will find your the mask constantly fogging up no matter how much defogging agent you use. There are some simple ways to keep your mask anti-fog. 1. Toothpaste Squirt toothpaste on the inside of the lens and rub it around with your finger or a soft cloth for a few minutes. The simpler the toothpaste, the better, so try to find a paste without bleaching agents and confetti. It may help to leave toothpaste on the mask overnight or to scrub the mask several times to allow the chemicals to react. Avoid using an extremely abrasive toothpaste or rough cloth, as these can scratch the inside of the glass. 2. Saliva Spit on the inside of the mask and rub it around with your finger. Dunk the mask briefly in fresh water. The goal is to leave a thin layer of saliva on the inside of the glass. Spitting does not work well if the mask dries out before diving, so use this technique immediately before the dive. 3. Baby Shampoo Many divers carry a bottle of watered-down baby shampoo with their dive gear. A few drops rubbed into the lens and then briefly rinsed out keeps a mask from fogging. Baby shampoo is preferable to standard shampoo, as it is generally hypo-allergenic, less irritating to your eyes, and biodegradable. Baby shampoo smells good, too. If the unlikely chance that an issue may arise, for example "Leaked", "Broke", "Fogged", "Pained", and "Used item", any issue different than you expected, please contact us first with your order number. According to the Interstate battery Marine/RV battery maintenance guide pdf, you determine the AMP HOUR rating of your battery by multiplying the RC rating (reserve capacity in minutes) by .6 - so a 160 RC battery ( a big one) has an AH rating of 96. According to - https://newportvessels.com/how-to-calculate-your-motor - run-time/ - the 36 lb. motor draws 29 amps at top speed setting and the 55 lb. motor draws 52 amps at top speed. DIVIDE THE THE AH RATING BY THE AMPS DRAWN to calculate run time for a GENERAL GUIDE. So - my 160 RC battery will power a 55 lb. thrust motor for 1.85 hours at top speed on flat water with no wind or current.

Answer:	Nuts n bolts with washers both flat and lock. Blots can be changed out for longer ones if needed. Great for terminal connectors, definitely not traditional car battery post connectors
Question:	What is the maximum continuous discharge rating? Something like a CA(cranking amps) rating
Answer:	This is a deep cycle battery, 100Ah (10-hr rating), and though I can't answer your question, I will suggest this: If you are truly interested in cranking amps then you should probably be looking at a different type of battery. Something like a marine dual starting/deep cycle battery (actually not a true deep cycle), or a starting battery. These will be listed by CA/CCA. Otherwise it is a fairly academic question and the reason CA/CCA are not commonly listed for a deep cycle battery. You would have to contact the seller or the manufacturer for this information. I checked and such a rating is not listed on the battery casing for this battery.
Question:	For cycle use it is supposed to be at 14v? I thought float was 13.8v and max would be
Answer:	I load tested this battery at 13.6 VDC charge and got 1,100 CCA which equates to 138 Ah using the 7.25 rule. There are several things to consider when evaluating the quality of a battery and so far I'm giving them an A+. The proof will be in how long they are able to exhibit this superior performance but I'm cautiously optimistic because the terminals are strong and well sealed and the plates must be very heavy due to the 60 pound weight.

Answer:	It comes with a pkg with a sort of terminal attachments. If it's not right for you, I'm sure your local auto store would have something to adapt this to your needs.

Answer:	Not sure of the exact application you’re asking about. Perhaps this could help though. Removing the head is pretty easy, the speed control is all plug in wires and the ground has a screw. The speed control is even marked where the different color wires go. My personal application is a transom mount with the controls extended to be reached at my seating position (steering in now foot pedals). Side note: high speed on a Bonified SS127 was GPS at 4.3MPH. I kinda wish I had gotten the 55lb thrust, however battery life is really good on this one. Hope this helps.

Answer:	This battery is deep cycle. When I received the battery, I put it on a Craftsman battery charger (plug-in), at 12V, 2 amp (slow) settings. If you are referring to "regular" as a car battery, then this battery is "small". I got it to fit in my gate opener cabinet... Works GREAT.

1. Do I need to connect the circuit breaker? - Yes! The 50 AMP circuit breaker that comes with the motor will help protect your motor from electrical damage.
2. Is this motor waterproof? - The head w/ handle is not waterproof. Light rain is fine but if there is heavy rain, it's submerged or sprayed directly with a hose, this will cause issues.
3. What gauge wire are the battery cables and how long are they? - This motor comes with 4ft 10 AWG cables.
4. How long does this motor run for? - This entirely depends on the battery capacity or Amperage Hour Rating (Ah) on the battery you are using. We recommend a 50Ah battery at minimum. This will power the motor for 1hr at speed 5 continuously and roughly 3hrs at speed 3.
5. Can the head be spun around for Bow Mounting? - Yes! Please contact Newport Vessels for instructions on how to safely do this.

Question:	I have a old town auto pilot 136 with a 45lb motor. If I’m on the water for six hours covering about 6 miles is this 54ahbattery going to work for me
Answer:	The two leads that appear to be out in the open are behind where ever you install it. Once you connect lug to wire use shrink wrap to protect. And you should have a breaker from your batteries to this device.
Question:	Can the battery be use on its side
Answer:	You don't need connectors really, the bare wires screw to a threaded terminal with a nut securing it. If you wanted a neater connection you could put a crimp-on connector on the end of each wire. These are really well made - industrial quality units. I have one on my boat's trolling motor.
Question:	What size battery box would you use for this battery
Answer:	I used 4 gauge wire which was plenty to run a 24 volt trolling motor.
Question:	Will a noco genius charger in lithium mode be sufficient and compatible to charge and maintain this 100ah battery
Answer:	Mine wasn't fully charged. Good thing I checked. Had to charge overnight using 1.5 amp charger.
