| Answer: | So far we have only used it for "faster time" travel. You can choose "shorter distance" which often times will give a more scenic route, as it avoids highways. There is also an "off road" option.....which would be an interesting commute given the opportunity. I can honestly say that there are several areas of the menus and computer loaded tutorial that I have yet to explore. BTW, the 5 inch screen gives excellent viewing. This Nuvi is very proficient in recalculating when you alter your route. Hopefully, this helps in your decision. |

| Answer: | I can't give you "all" of the Garmins that allow for this. I would direct you to Garmin's site and check the prestige and advanced series. This being said, our household has 5 current garmins, of which 3 of the 5 have the ability to add "via's" or "waypoints" (what Garmin calls multiple addresses). The 40 & 50LM we use do NOT allow the user to "add" these. The 738, 3270 and 3597 that we have do allow for via's. Of these three only the 3597 allows me to "optimize" the route(s) for the shortest (or best) route to get to all via's. For me, I wouldn't get this feature again (the optimize route). Not that it doesn't work well, but the units like the 3597 end up costing $150-300+ more than the models that just allow you to add via's. Also, I believe that only the 3597 now is available - the other units I have that allow for via's are 3-5yrs old now and I would doubt are still available new. Hope this helps! |

Any Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc......in the area will appear. Every store that you can think of will show up. Just select which store you want( Walmart) and you'll get your directions.This is a great GPS, she'll never let you down. You'll be very happy. Have fun! |

| Answer: | Mine came with two, but the white in this style is really not sufficient for the legal requirement for a stern light on your boat. Technically the stern light must be visible for 360 degrees. For an inexpensive stern light I recommend a Dorcy Mini Lantern with two key rings zip-tied to it to allow it to be fastened to the boat. For a really good stern light, I recommend the Kayalite portable stern light. It has a pole that lifts it above the deck, but can be fastened to any boat with something to clip to on the stern. |

That's what I plan to do for my hobie cat, since the mast is harder to raise and lower. You could also try clipping it directly to the mainsail head shackle. |
