I drilled my bumper about 2.5 feet apart and focus them appx 15 to 20 degrees down. Still has plenty of light spread without to much bother to others'. I run 420 miles 5 days a week and 96% of eighteen wheelers use the same or something similar. So I would get used to it and grab a pair for yourself. After one year of constant use the lens are not as clear as they were when new but still emits awesome light. later...

Answer:	My boat had Perko lights, not sure if they were A-16 but they did measure a 2.4" base and this fit right through the same holes and fiberglass molded stub that they sit on.

Answer:	Yes, USCG approved, but would not be approved if mounted facing forward, because a craft approaching from either side could view both red and green. They would have to be mounted on the sides so only one color would be seen from any other boater.

Question:	I have these lights one is bad how do I return or send in for warranty
Answer:	No. This is a solid-state unit and the LEDs are not replaceable. We do offer a 2-year warranty for the light. Hope this helps.
Question:	What is the minimum angle from the boat’s centerline these can be mounted to be uscg legal
Answer:	The lens does not come out. The lens is clear...the LEDS are clear too until you turn the light on. The chrome cover does come off.
Question:	Red led has 2 lights not working. how can i get it replaced
Answer:	1-1/16". Hope this helps.
Question:	what is the lumens output on these
Answer:	Already installed so I can’t mic the wire, but about 6” long, red/black, thinking 18-20ga. Tinned. Work great on boat. But I solder and heat shrink all junctions.

Answer:	Correct most led lights are that way. I have had mine on for years and still work just fine. I would rather replace the whole thing since in saltwater the connections to the bulbs always rust out anyway.
