I chose not to have it support the full weight as it is rubber and eventually rubber deteriorates. |

| Answer: | Hard rubber!! We have a 25 ft roller trailer with them on it, 32 of them, and carries a 5000 pound boat. I wouldn’t suggest using them for the bow, they will leave black marks. They have some kinda clear/orange color that won’t leave marks on your boat. |
