10 best paintball remotes
Paintball remotes are essential components in the sport of paintball, primarily used to connect the player's paintball marker (also known as a paintball gun) to a high-pressure air or CO2 tank. These remotes serve several purposes and are a vital part of paintball equipment. Here's what you need to know about paintball remotes:
Purpose: Paintball remotes allow players to carry the heavy and bulky air or CO2 tanks on their back or in a harness, rather than attaching them directly to the marker. This provides greater freedom of movement and maneuverability during games.
Components: A paintball remote typically consists of a flexible hose (often coiled for convenience), a quick-disconnect fitting at one end, and a female ASA (Air Source Adapter) or an on/off valve at the other end. The quick-disconnect fitting attaches to the marker, while the ASA or on/off valve connects to the tank.
Types:
- Coiled Remote: This type of remote features a coiled hose that retracts when not in use, reducing tangles and making it easier to manage. Coiled remotes are popular among players who want to minimize the hose's interference while moving.
- Straight Remote: Straight remotes have a non-coiled hose. They are less flexible but are still effective at connecting the tank to the marker.
Safety: Paintball remotes often include an on/off valve or ASA adapter with a bleed valve. This allows players to shut off the air supply to the marker when not in use, enhancing safety by preventing accidental discharges.
Compatibility: It's essential to ensure that the paintball remote you choose is compatible with both your marker and tank. Different markers may require specific fittings or adapters, so double-check compatibility before purchasing.
Maintenance: Regular maintenance of paintball remotes is crucial to ensure their reliability and safety. Check for leaks, wear and tear, and damaged o-rings or seals. Lubricate the fittings as needed to prevent leaks.
Regulation: Paintball remotes are not typically regulated, meaning they do not control the pressure of the air or CO2. The tank itself or a separate regulator is responsible for regulating the pressure that reaches the marker.
Benefits: Using a paintball remote offers several advantages, such as improved mobility, reduced marker weight, and enhanced maneuverability. It can also make it easier to switch between different tanks during a game.
In summary, paintball remotes are essential accessories for paintball players, allowing them to connect their markers to air or CO2 tanks while improving their gameplay experience. Players should choose the type of remote that suits their preferences and ensure compatibility with their equipment. Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure safety and performance on the field.

User questions & answers
Question: | how long is it? im looking for a durable line that is at least 30+ inches |
Answer: | Should work fine on it. |
Question: | This is quick disconnect too? i can close the air with sline check and then disconect it from marker? i will use it on a tipx, hv a remote line adapt |
Answer: | Depends on what marker you have. I own quite a few Ego’s and use it on the Bolt, ASA, and it works well in the breach. |
Question: | Are the threads npt or bspp |
Answer: | The Spyder Victor only uses grease in a couple of the internal non moving parts such as the valve o-rings. For the bolt system and moving parts such as the rammer, you really should use oil and not grease. So your answer is yes and no. You can use this grease everywhere that you have non moving o-rings to help with air seals, but for all moving parts you want to use gun oil. |
Question: | Does it work for 45000psi tanks |
Answer: | Yes, you will need any brand of Dow 33 grease for your marker. This is a very good choice. It is a good idea to clean and re-lube your marker after you play. Make sure to use this lube on all o-rings of your Mini GS after you clean it. |

Question: | how long is the remote line |
Answer: | I believe so. I'm 45 years old 6' tall 230 lbs. And they fit me well. A bit snug but I am pleased with the fit. |
Question: | can this be used with a 20oz co2 tank |
Answer: | 2 |
Question: | Does this come with a quick disconnect |
Answer: | Mine did not come with clips. However, there is a Velcro strap for each wrist. I use the Velcro strap to keep the gloves together when not in use. |
Question: | Do not see provision for venting. just shoot down? or the asa is on/off/venting type |
Answer: | I think it is 2.0 or 25 inches. It is narrow to me but works well and can look like a stylish chocker but wider. I use it when driving and wear it in public sometimes. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it only work for co2 tanks |
Answer: | No this is for a high pressure pump |
Question: | What is working pressure of this hose |
Answer: | Yes. It’s a universal fit that screws into the same threaded ASA on the marker that your co2/air tank screws into. Then you screw your tank into the other end of the remote line and you’re ready to go! |
Question: | Will this work on the jt outkast |
Answer: | The big end is for screwing onto your tank, so no the hose it self you can't. But the hose come with a "quick release" (it's the part that screws into your gun where the tank would) that has a connection That you can hook up to a air compressor. So yes you could hook it up, just not through the hose itself just the smaller end piece. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it smart to use this to fill co2 tanks with compressed air |
Answer: | No. CO2 cylinders are not rated for the same high pressure that compressed air cylinders are rated for. CO2 cylinders are rated for a maximum pressure of 860 psi and compressed air cylinders can be rated at 3000 psi and higher. Even if you use a CO2 cylinder and fill it to no more than 860 psi you will not get the same kind of volume out of it because at 860 psi the carbon dioxide is a liquid inside the cylinder and air is still a gas. Both will expand but the expansion ratio for CO2 is about 535 to 1 and this is much higher than the air. |
Question: | Can i use this just to check the current pressure on my 12oz co2 tanks? would i need something else? thanks |
Answer: | Are those tankst threaded and refillable ? If not . tben no . |
Question: | Does this have a bleeder to release pressure in the line |
Answer: | It does not have a bleeder valve to release the line pressure, but it will let you empty out whatever it is you’re filling, an air bottle in my case. My compressor and hand pump have bleeder valves and I bleed the line that way. |
Question: | Does the gauge read from the tank side or the npt-threaded side of the adapter? In other words, with the valve closed will it read the input pressure |
Answer: | Have mine set up for PCP rifle to check output of regulator on tank. Mine has a slide to bleed air out of tank if need be and gauge is attached to that. With valve open it should read tank pressure. With valve closed it will read input pressure from npt if it's greater then the pressure that's trapped inside the valve from tank. Will upload pic of my setup with slide to bleed out air in tank and valve b4 removal as to not blow out oring off bottle. Makes taking valve off easy since there is no pressure. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the length of this remote line |
Answer: | npt |
Question: | Is it HPA or what |
Answer: | Yes. I use it on a non-slp ninja 45/90 without a problem. Keep in mind, these tasks don't actually output that much pressure. Actual output from one of these paintball style tanks is a few hundred psi at most. Burst pressure on these remote lines is typically in the realm of 300-500 psi. This is much less than your typical tank output pressure. Hope this helps. |
Question: | how do i cancel this order |
Answer: | Yes the remote line will fit. |
Question: | Can this be used as a pressure tester to measure output pressure on tanks such as a paintball tank that goes anywhere from 250 to 1000 psi of output p |
Answer: | If the gun got shot, no, it would not break. I recently bought two of these guns and they were pretty great. Nice look and feel. If you dropped the gun, I guess it would depend on how hard the fall was and where the point of contact on the gun was. Nine times out of ten, I would say the gun would be just fine. My recommendation... Don't drop your paintball guns (LOL). |
Question: | Do you sell just the o-rings for this adapter |
Answer: | I never tired it but you can change the velocity the more you crank it up the farther it goes and stronger but of course you don't wanna kill anyone lol |
Question: | Work with a co2 line |
Answer: | In order to use this marker you will need to purchase a CO2 or HPA tank in addition to a feeder to hold the paintballs feeding into the breach of the marker. You would also need a goggle system designed for paintball use to protect yourself from injury. User questions & answers
Question: | what thread size and type are on each end |
Answer: | Hello. Yes, this will fit with any standard paintball tank that traditionally threads into a marker's ASA (air source adapter). Your HK tank will thread right into the receiving end of this remote the same way it screws into your gun's adapter. Feel free to reach out with any other questions! We're always happy to help! |
Question: | What's the thread size |
Answer: | Hello. The female ASA end of this remote fits standard tank threads (like a 12oz or 20oz CO2 tank or HPA/Nitrogen tank). It does not fit the smaller pre-filled 90 gram threaded cartridge style tanks unless you already have an adapter that adapts those smaller threads to standard tank threads. |
