Answer:	Actually, I pour the first 16 ounces through the infuser, over the grounds. I like to "bloom" the grounds first. I just hold the infuser in the pitcher, and pour the water with my other hand. Then I add the second 16 ounces, and add the infuser. The 32 ounces only fills the pitcher 3/4 full. It leaves enough room for water displacement when the infuser is added.
Question:	The suggested 28 tbsp coffee almost filled up the filter thingy - some grounds were even dry after sitting. What measurement works best
Answer:	I have the 2 quart pitcher and the instructions say 28-32 tablespoons or 2 cups of coffee for cold brew. I was confused at first and looking at the wrong directions and used only 1 cup. The coffee was drinkable but it was not as concentrated as it should be. Also, the instructions say to put it on it's side in the refrigerator which I didn't do the first time..
Question:	Can you use this to make ice tea? it seems the same as the Takeya ice tea maker but with a different colored top
Answer:	It's not the same filter. The coffee maker uses an ultra-fine mesh filter, while the iced tea maker uses one that is not as fine. We also recommend using two filters - one for coffee and one for tea to ensure that you get the best taste from each beverage.

Add Coffee

Add 14-16 tablespoons of your favorite medium roast, coarsely ground coffee to the infuser, then twist into lid.

Brew

Add 32 ounces of cold, filtered water to the Takeya pitcher, fill 3/4 full, then lower infuser into water.

Seal lid airtight, shake well and store in refrigerator overnight or up to 36 hours to cold brew. Occasionally twist open and swirl infuser. Remove infuser when brewing is complete. The result will be a brew of concentrated coffee.

Serve Hot or Cold

Hot Coffee - mix 1 part coffee concentrate with 2 parts boiling water. If desired add sweetener and creamer of your choice.

Iced Coffee - simply pour coffee concentrate and add milk or soy over ice.

Answer:	I bought one with the infuser and one without, but both had the ring and I can use it in either. The jugs were identical except for color and that one came with the infuser.

Answer:	It's a bit tall. I had to move one of my fridge shelves up a notch to fit it. That said, if you close it tightly, you can store it horizontally without issue.

Answer:	Eastman Tritan plastics have been shown to leach synthetic estrogens that cause the same kind of dangerous effects as BPA. They have tried to hide this information while knowingly lying to the public that it is free of these chemicals. Answer:	It's a means of connecting up to 5 networked devices so that they can communicate with each other. Four of the ports provide DC power (called POE, 'power over Ethernet') to devices that are POE-enabled. That's commonly built into surveillance IP-cameras (IP=Internet Protocol) so you only need 1 cable to both communicate & provide power to the camera. If you really want to know how it works I can explain, I used to design these kinds of products, retired engineer now.

Answer:	Interesting question. "Which adapters...to use fans outside of a PC?" If you had stated the 'use' an adapter might be recommended as there likely are hundreds of possible uses. These fans have mounting holes at each corner and you will need to use at lease two but four is best. Many fan applications outside of a PC can use existing holes for attaching directly to an 'outside the PC' project. Similar fans to this have been used for cooling entertainment center cabinets by just drilling a hole the diameter of the fan opening and screwing the fan directly by its 4 mounting holes to the cabinet. Your 'more significant' concern might be, 'how are you going to provide the 12v. power and turn the fan on/off outside the PC?' Good Luck on your project.

Question:	Anyone use this as a regular pitcher without the filter
Answer:	The actual maximum outside diameter is 12 1/8 or 12 3/16 inches. The other important measurement is what I will call the "drip ring" This is the inner ring that goes straight down from the glass dome about 1/4 inch and prevents lid moisture from going to the outer edge. The drip ring diameter is just over 11 5/8 inches. I bought this for a Tramontina 12" fry pan which I love by the way. The Tramontina pan has a max diameter of 12 3/4 inches and the lid fits entirely inside rather than just the drip ring. But is fine in this case. The main thing is the drip ring fitting inside the pan and the slightly smaller lid not dropping too far into the pan. The entire height of the lid is about 2 3/4 inches.

Answer:	I have 8 ports hub instead of five ports hub. I still have the instruction for either of them so the instruction says "Connect one of the Ethernet cable to one of devices then connect to the switch. It states that you can use any one port to connect so there is no special port for connecting the router.Mine connects to #1 port that connects to the router. After connecting to the router, check to see any flashing light on the cable. If the light is still flashing, it should be Okay.

Answer:	The default password is 'admin' (lower-case) and the switch's factory default IP address is 10.90.90.90 with a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0 and a default gateway of 0.0.0.0. If admin is not working, you will need to reset the switch back to the factory default settings. Press the Reset button for 6~10 seconds to reset the switch back to the default settings and led will be solid amber for 2 seconds. Answer:	I have both the 1 quart and the 2 quart Takeya Flash Flash Chill Tea Maker. It fits the 1 quart and, if you screw on the black extender ring that comes with the 2 quart, it will fit that also. I've never tried it without the extender ring for the 2 quart but it may work without it also.
Question:	I threw away the detailed instructions. Need to know what one part is. Can anyone tell me where to find a copy of the little manual they included
Answer:	The size of the mesh does not make one bit of difference to how well fruit chunks will infuse. The capacity of the filter may make a difference, insofar as how much fruit you can infuse at once, but not the size of the mesh. Also don't try to clean it with your hands, get a soft bottle brush to clean all the way down to the bottom. The only reason to get two is if fruit flavors somehow manage to stay in the mesh over time and you don't want the very small alteration that may make to your tea. In which case the mesh material would make a lousy fruit infuser because you would end up with a mishmosh of fruit flavors or you would have to have a separate filter for each and every different type of fruit you use, and THEN the fruit infuser would make sense to get separately from the tea infuser.

Answer:	The lid is EXACTLY 7 7/8 inch across with a 1/8 inch lip. So measure your pan from inside edge to inside edge. If it is between 7 7/8 to 8 inches it should fit perfectly. The Circulon pan I have is actully a 8 1/2 pan also, but the inside edges are 8 inches apart exactly and the lid fits like it was made for the pan. Hope that helps :)

Answer:	Both the 8 inch and 10 inch lids fit my T-Fal "coated" 8 and 10 skillets...As to the stainless steel skillet, I don't know since my stainless skillet is a different brand...The inside rim of the lids fit inside the diameter of the pans and leave slight "wiggle" room...I have found that the fit is tight enough for the lid to collect steamy moisture during cooking and seals enough that contents do not boil out from under the lid...I have been pleased with the performance of these lids...I was grateful to find them...The outer rim of the lid rests on the outer edge of the skillet and this is where the "seal" is on my pans...I hope this helps!

Answer:	I no longer have the "10-inch" lid because I returned it. But I just now measured my 10" Farberware frying pan, and it is exactly 10" in diameter, at the top. When I bought the so-called 10" lid, it was less than 10" in diameter, because the whole lid did not sit on top of the fry pan, but it went down inside of the 10" Farberware frying pan. The diameter of the lid was too short to fit the fry pan.
