Answer:	If I'm seeing correctly, it measures 56mm across. Kind of hard to know if I'm exactly across at the center, but measuring the inside rim of the cap (which has markings on the outer rim to guess at mid circumference) I also measure at 56mm.

Answer:	I've used the 32 oz on the tread mill. But when I purchased this item I recieved the smaller size not the 32oz like I thought I was buying. Both fit. It has a straw so it shouldn't disrupt your run. The local grocery store used to sell the 32oz and those I could use after I lost the straw. If I remember right I had a harder time doing that with the smaller size.

Answer:	I have never found replacement straws for this bottle; I have tried to measure its diameter and length then buy extra reusable straws on Amazon, etc. Some I've had to cut to fit if plastic, had one set of tempered glass straws. Several years ago, my kids got me 2 contigo sip bottles. extra straws are available for the model with insertion similar to the rubbermaid style shown here; the second bottle has a screw attachment as part of the straw which I find difficult to fit snugly due to arthritis in my fingers and thumb, but my husband attaches it to the cap right out of the dishwasher so he has been a wonderful help.

Answer:	I have had no problems with adjusting mine, yours may have a defect. When it gets to the length I need, I simply twist it as tight as possible, and untwist when done to have it properly fit into the dustpan and handle for storage.

Question:	Can i pour hot water in it
Answer:	I've done just that while maintaining a firm hold on the pour tab. May I also suggest that you pour in the dry instant milk first, followed by the water. The opening is also wide enough to facilitate a spoon for stirring halfway through the process. I personally find the stirring elevates lumps and better dissolves the powder. JMHO

Answer:	The base of the container is about 3X4". The height is about 8". They are great for making drinks like Crystal Lite or Hawaiian Punch. Just fill it up with water, pour 2 individual drink pouches and shake. I like to mix orange and pineapple together. I also have a plastic drawer (that I got at Amazon) that holds 3 of these back to back in the refrigerator to make them easier to reach. That way they don't take up as much space in the fridge. They also fit on the refrigerator door just like condiments do.

Answer:	I never wash mine. I have come to enjoy the earthy pungent smell it has developed.

Answer:	No. This is made for cold drinks only. Directions for use say, no carbonated drinks and no hot drinks. Contigo does make a cup for hot drinks.

Answer:	The warning on bottom says hot contents can create internal pressure resulting in discharge of hot liquids that can cause injury. Do not use with hot liquids. They do make travel coffee mugs that I have and love.
