Answer:	Yes. I have a 40" waist, and it fits.

Answer:	The main compartment is 9+ inches long. Kind of hard to measure, but it looks like it is 6 inches tall. The stiffness of the tablet might be the obstacle to zipping it, but it looks like the dimensions of the pack would accommodate 9 x 6. You could slant it a bit. If it does not work, Amazon returns are quick and easy. One item I returned was picked up the next day and the money returned to my account in two days. Go ahead and order it!

Question:	Is the main compartment really 9.5" wide? A competing vendor describes the main compartment as being 7" wide
Answer:	Sounds like you can wash it in the machine if you don't mind it getting stuck in the middle spinner. Or you can wash it in a lingerie-bag type of sack to keep the straps from getting tangled in the spinner. In my experience, this fanny pack is pretty durable, though one seam opened up after months of being packed too full.

Answer:	I just measured the pockets and they are 5" deep. The bottles that are in the pockets measure 7" tall. I just now poured water into one of the bottles; then measured how much it holds. It measured 16 oz. (1 pint). I bought this item for my husband to wear on his Hound Hikes and he loves it!
