If it was much bigger it would be awkward to drink out of for a travel glass, but you could always make your shakes in the Blender Ball and then pour them in the Ello. If you have a Target, go check them out on the shelf. I like the glass aspect, but also that they fit in my car cup holder. |

The first time it happened I contacted the company by email and they said they were not yet selling replacement lids for this bottle, but they would send me a replacement if I would provide a picture of the broken lid/bottle and the original receipt. I did not have the receipt, so I went to Target where I bought it. I told them why I wanted a copy of the receipt (it had been months since I purchased it) and they traded me the broken one for a new one. However, I do not see them at Target anymore. You can recycle the glass portion and the price of these water bottles on Amazon is about half what I paid for my original water bottle. The company indicated that they had plans to sell replacement lids so you could try contacting them or just buy a new bottle on Amazon and recycle the glass portion of the broken one. I just bought a couple extras from Amazon when I broke the second one. Sorry hope this helps. |

| Answer: | I have 4 of these, wash them in the DW constantly. I do not take the silicon off, the Ello site says you don't have to remove the silicon, and the DW has never caused any issue. Lid in top rack, but I put the bottle in the bottom cause that's where it fits. |

| Answer: | I understand your concern about China made crap, and I pretty much try to avoid their poisoned garbage. However; the process of making glass as far as I know is pretty standard wherever it is made meaning that there would be no lead, heavy metals or other toxins in the glass. |
