Answer: I used this in a 1 gal. betta tank. It just covered the bottom. To cover a 5 gal. I feel you may need 5 - 8 bags of this aquarium gravel, depending on how much you want in your aquarium.

Answer: I think they are a little small for game pieces. Each rock is about 1/4-1/2 the size of a blueberry. Each bag has about 3/4 cup of stones. I hope this helps!
