Answer:	We use a conservative standard “best by” date of 2 years. That said, our purification process is quite extensive and because our cans and bottles are opaque, the water should stay fresh if stored properly. The FDA does not require an expiration date for bottled water.

Answer:	These are far more durable that plastic bottles, so we wash & reuse them by filling them with filtered water from our fridge or via a filtered pitcher (e.g. zero water). They also stay cold much better than plastic. If someone plans to simply use these once & then recycle, they're not using them according to the intended purpose of reusing them - - - not to mention that is a very expensive option.

As kids, our summers revolved around body surfing in the ocean and watersports at the lake. We took the clean waters and plastic-free beaches for granted. But things have changed. Now, 1 million plastic bottles are used every single minute and 70% or more will end up in landfills and oceans.

There's a plastic garbage patch the size of France floating in the Pacific. That's crazy! And scary. Recyclability

Aluminum is recycled more than twice as often as plastic, glass, and cartons. Its high scrap value helps ensure that even if you forget to recycle, someone else will do it for you. In fact, the scrap value of aluminum is actually what funds the majority of curbside recycling programs around the country. This has helped aluminum enjoy recycling rates near 70%!

Closed Loop Cycle

Not only is aluminum the most recycled material, it’s also infinitely recyclable as well. That means that the material from one of our aluminum bottles or cans can go right back into making another, identical bottle or can. No new material needed! Amazingly, this process can happen in as little as 60 days. This isn’t the case with plastic and cartons, which get downcycled into lower quality materials.

One Material

Cartons are made of thin layers of paper, plastic, and aluminum. Before they can recycled, these layers have to be separated. In the limited regions where carton recycling is accepted, the process to separate the paper from the aluminum and plastic requires a biiiig machine called a hydrapulper, which soaks and blends the materials until they come apart. The paper can then be repurposed for tissues and other paper goods, but doesn't really have a life beyond that. The plastic/aluminum mix has few uses. In special circumstances, the cartons can be repurposed without separating the three materials, but the market for this is pretty tiny.

I drink a lot of bottle water, So i decide to give it a try. It taste just like water out of my sink, which is fine, but i pay a bill for that already. If i'm going to pay for water I want it to taste better. Also $22 for a 12 pack of water is not really expensive when most waters are $1.50 or more at a convenient store.
