Answer:	My son is 52lbs and couldn't make it budge at all. The spring wouldn't even go down a little. Lol. It is made for 80-160lbs. They make a smaller one that we have to exchange this for. The design is called Maverick. I know my son is still on the lower-mid level of that weight range so I would probably recommend it for a 62lb boy too.
