Question:	Does the backboard break after continuous use
Answer:	Yes, mine broke after 4 months. The backboard actually split in half.

Answer:	Took a little work but I backed out the rivets and mounted it to the well without issues.

Answer:	The tools you need are included. The directions are very simple. You do not attach anything to the door or drill the door. The goal hangs over the top of the door after you attach the hardware to the hoop.

Answer:	Got this for a Christmas gift for our son. He played on it for at least 30 minutes each weekday and 2-3 hours each Friday-Sunday. He dunked constantly and it held up VERY well for the first 6 weeks. BUT, he performed an average dunk tonight and the back board broke in half, and as the half with the hoop attached to it, fell to the ground, it cut his hand slightly. Before tonight I would have given this product 5-stars. I plan to contact the manufacturer to find out more. If I find out anything, I'll report back here again.

When measured from the surface of the base, deduct a half an\\\\\\When measured from the door surface, it is 3 inches on the top hooks and 2 inches on the bottom hooks. When measured from the base surface, deduct a half inch from both measurements.

Answer:	It's ready as shipped to be mounted on a door, with the clips/hooks in the back gapped at an inch and 5/8 to hang on the top of most interior doors.Those clips are attached to the backboard with screws, which could be removed and then wood screws could be driven through those holes into a wall.This would require wall anchors or plywood screwed into the wall studs to which the backboard could then be attached, as the spacing of the clips are not the typical 16" of most wall studs.

Answer:	No idea what the difference is but I got the X-purple one & I love it!
