Answer:	It is not designed to be mounted to any thing, however it is heavy enough to be still as it is being used. It is made of metal and may rest if it is exposed to dirt and moisture for extended periods. A plastic one might serve your needs better. It is nicer than any plastic one! It works very nicely.

Answer:	No, its not intended as a conventional watch for telling time. Its a stopwatch and running watch, among other functions.

Answer:	it will record laps up to 99 then go to 0 and keep going until you hit stop. The reset function only works with the watch stopped. lap or split depends on which mode you choose.

Answer:	I think so- I haven't used it this way, but I have used it to time a distance race at a track meet. I used the split feature to store all 15 runners' times without any problems. You may want to try using this feature at practice before the race- it seems pretty straight forward, but I think it's helpful to get comfortable using the split feature ahead of time! I'm planning to use my watch for Cross Country in the fall, too!

For example, I swam two lengths if the pool in :01:37 and my coach hit SPLIT at the end if the first length. When I got out of the pool, I could see that my first length was 45 seconds and my second was 52, for a total of :01:37. Does that help?

Answer:	As far as I know, it doesn't turn off. We got ours awhile ago, and it's still going strong. It works well and has lots of features, but we do have to hide it in a drawer since it beeps every hour.
