Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. The earflaps are removable. Just unsnap the two snaps on the earflap from the nylon strap. Feed the strap out of the loop at the bottom of the ear flap, Then pull the earpiece out of the helmet. There is a little plastic flap that is part of the earpiece that slides into the slot in the helmet. The earflap is replaced in reverse order. We hope this helps.
