Answer:	I've never used in sand but I can't imagine that they wouldn't work as good in sand as the do in snow and they work exceptionally well in snow.

The area he used had a thin layer of ice over water and the front tires were stuck in the water and just spinning. The back tires were barely touching the ground and spinning when he tried to move. I tried to pull him out but didn't work and then I remembered! The portable tow truck that was in the back. We put them under the tires and as soon as they touched the track a little the truck bucked back and was out! It sent these skidding forward towards the front tires but they worked well. This is on our frozen river that we use for road during freezes. These worked pretty impressively. Everyone that saw were amazed and will probably buy these too. Answer:	Do a search on the internet for a hand chart and compare your size of hands to the chart. Check the width of your hands. If your hands are not petite, I would get the large size gloves. If you have wide hands, then I would buy extra large. You can adjust the size of your gloves to fit your wrist.

Answer:	These gloves run small, we ordered a large they won't fit an average adult man. I'd say these are sized to fit young or small people, our pair went to a person who has small hands, not the person intended at purchase time. Otherwise they are high quality.
