Answer:	The Pungo Carbon blades are compression molded carbon around a foam spine, but they are not "full foam core" blades like the Wilderness Systems Apex Carbon, Apex Glass, and Alpha Carbon Angler paddles.
Question:	I just got the paddle and it feels great. It is not grabbing when i slide the two side together. Any one have an idea or is it just not working
Answer:	Mine does not grab. I slide the two pieces together to the desired length, then I lock it. I have used it on more than 25 paddle trips, usually 3 to 6 miles each. Never came loose. When the paddle is over, I unlock it and the two pieces easily slide apart to stow in the car.

Question:	Is it good for a man over 200 pounds
Answer:	With all carbon fiber construction, this paddle works well for hard pulls. I weigh over 200 and paddle for several hours per week and I haven't had any problems. It is carbon fiber so you have to be careful not to scratch or chip the surface because it can be damaged. But it is very sturdy for being very lightweight.

Answer:	It's a 3 piece paddle so there is a piece with the blade, the blade itself is not removable from the short section of paddle shaft it's on

Answer:	No foam in shaft. I have never had my shaft fill with water. Sometimes there’s a hairline crack on the edge of the paddle itself. This would cause the water filling the shaft. I normally just use electrical tape on the edge before I use the paddle for the first time...

Question:	I just received the paddle, its says from 5'11" to 7"2" Was there an option for a shorted paddle? I am only 5'1" tall. dont know if it will fit
Answer:	I'm 5'11" and I have to have it all the way out to the last notch for it to be perfect for me. II think someone 5'1" could use it at its shortest and be fine. I think 5'11" is the shortest length of the paddle from tip to top of handle and 7'2" the length when fully extended. Keep in mind you're going to have some of that in the water and then you want to be able to put your hand on the top of the paddle. Grab a long stick or pole and stand on a chair and with about 1' below the surface of the chair, mark where you're comfortable putting your hand that would go on the top of the pole. That should give you at least a close idea of the length paddle you can use.
