Answer:	Technically the specification states the maximum load as 250 lbs. However, my wife and I exceed that by at least 100 lbs and there didn't seem to be any issues. If you search You Tube for "Travels with Yoly" and then find a video called "Blackwater River - Part 2 - Kayak Trip" you can see it in action.

Answer:	Spoke to the manufacturer, and it no longer comes with a hand pump despite what the manufacturer's box, and amazon ad say.

Answer:	Yes, the seats are completely adjustable and removable. This is a very sturdy little boat as well. We have two and myself, my 12 year old daughter and our Border Collie all ride in one boat together.

Answer:	I own both kayaks and I would rather go with the explore to kayak, the reason is the Explorer - is self bailing has better seats that raise you out of the water in the bottom of the boat has an upturned nose to keep water from splashing you paddles are better quality. I have taken the explorer down a class 3 river the cabarrton river in Idaho with no problems. Take the skeg off if you do rivers, will just cause you problems if you dont, mainly you will loose it. Only use tue skeg in lakes or ponds.

Answer:	The rule of thumb is 1.5 sizes smaller than your shoe size. However I did just that and these skates were way to small. Had to return them. I went to Dicks Sporting goods, tried on a few different sizes and ended up getting a size exactly to what I wear in shoes.
Question:	Is this suitable for calm ocean riding
Answer:	I played a lot of hockey and these are hockey blades. There is no toe pick. The boot is softer than other hockey skates and I would not want to get hit with a stick or hard shot with these skates. The blades do not appear to be replaceable like you find on many hockey skates. I bought these to skate comfortably, not to play hockey. The velcro strap make it easier to tighten the skates, but you still need to pull the laces tight. So far, I am pleased with the skates.

Answer:	I've used it twice and thoroughly impressed with the kayak, pump, paddle. The storage bag is the antithesis of the kayak. It began falling apart at the seam on the first use. I believe by my third outing it will completely come apart. It was a great price point at 69$. Now that it's 200$ so they could certainly invest in a slightly more durable bag and still get their ROI.
Question:	Can this be used as a solo kayak
Answer:	I reviewed this product several months back and detailed a horrific kayaking experience I had back in 2011. To make a long story short, unbeknownst to me and my friends a then-recent tornado outbreak had left dozens of trees laying across the creek we were kayaking on. What was supposed to have been a 2-3 hour casual outing turned into 8 hours of dragging our kayaks across a shallow, rocky creek-bed and over dozens of fallen trees. All of that abuse did not lead to a single hole in the Challenger K1. Also, as I said in my previous review, I would strongly recommend buying a paddle better than the one that comes with it. The paddle is short and the cheap, plastic handle will easily crack.

Answer:	I had the same question and this setup video was super helpful for me: https://youtu.be/6sKhIEEFxSY b/c u can watch a high school girl inflate and assemble everything in real-time (shows you how do-able it really is). Personally I was getting confused hearing everyone's opinion on how long it would take but watching someone, I could judge a lot easier :) I've found that just the Kayak can be inflated in about 3 min. And then inflating the other items, assembling the paddle, etc. can all be done in about 7-8min or under 10min no problem. And one helpful trick when deflating it is to approach it like you're rolling air out of an air mattress. Doing that works a lot better than trying to fold up the Kayak to get the air out. Question:	Has anyone ever successfully ordered a kayak from Amazon? I tried 3 times, only to recieve damaged kayaks or different ones than I had ordered
Answer:	We ordered the 2 pack Lifetime Tamarack Angler kayaks but the first order was lost. They replaced it right away & within a couple of weeks, the same kayaks were delivered without any damage. We were told the first order was lost in transit which we took to mean they were probably stolen off of a truck or warehouse somewhere; however, they were quick to send the replacements.
Question:	Why was our order canceled jusy days before it was supposed to be delivered
Answer:	I can't speak to your order; however, the same thing happened to us. The day before delivery they called and said they were "lost in transit" but said they would ship them again asap which they did. I thought that was strange and took that to mean that probably someone had stolen them off the truck & they had to re-order/replace them which they did. Hope that helps.

Answer:	At first I was nervous because I had never had a kayak before but it actually has been very stable. My husband and I have taken them out several times already this summer and haven’t had any issues with tipping even in water that has been a little choppy. I can’t say how they compare to canoes or other kayaks but they seem to be all around great kayaks.

Answer:	No, it would be more accurately described as water-resistant. I have two installed on my Ocean Kayak Scrambler, one that came factory installed and the second I put in (with no extra sealants). Neither are watertight, if water sits on top it will seep in.

Answer:	When I bought mine I was very surprised at how rugged it is the bow in the sides are made of the same material like a zodiac inflatable boat very thick and stout the bottom is also good material. I drugged mine not for a long time but over rocks sticks and no punctures. That's not to say I would drag it a quarter mile down the road but it is very rugged very well made. I was very pleasantly surprised. I would recommend buying it you won't be disappointed

Answer:	As long as you have good balance - don't shift too much, I can cast and fish, but stand in front my seat with the pedal up for a hand hold, prefer just to sit, the seat is high enough to cast from, but can stand if I need to. I fish the Laguna Madre outside of Corpus Christi
