Answer:	The sides of the bottom are framed with metal. I use this seat on a regular basis and it works fine.

Answer:	Yes, very similar to a stadium seat--great for football games instead of cold aluminum bench. Has extra Velcro straps to wrap around canoe bench so it won't fall in and sink. Enjoy!

Answer:	Depending on the style of the boat it may work. If you are just looking for extra cushion maybe, but if there is no seat at all, I don't think this would work too well.

Answer:	I did 100 miles in Philmont. IMO, save the weight and sit on your rolled up rain coat, or get a Z seat. Lighter and more uses. Every ounce counts and this would definitely categorize as a luxury item.

Answer:	Yes. It will pull your legs up obviously but you can adjust the straps to give you a bit more lean.
Question:	Does this chair roll up so that it can be stuffed in or attached to the side of a backpack? Or does it only fold in half to close
Answer:	It will fold in half and then another half kind of like a taco so I'm not sure that it could fit in a backpack but definitely a mid sized shoulder bag. I could take a pic if that would help??

Answer:	I don't know the exact length offhand but it BARELY straps around a standard size bench and even then is hard to buckle.

Answer:	They are not going to be long enough for that. They are only designed for bleacher seats. Opened all the way up they are 20 inches long. 10 inches in the front and 10 in the back and then they buckle together. So they could strap to a 19 or so inch bleacher seat.

I have used mine at 3 different race tracks sitting from 7pm-1am and my butt never got numb like it did on the thin standard square cushion. Also the reclining feature is very strong. Answer:	Technically the specification states the maximum load as 250 lbs. However, my wife and I exceed that by at least 100 lbs and there didn't seem to be any issues. If you search You Tube for "Travels with Yoly" and then find a video called "Blackwater River - Part 2 - Kayak Trip" you can see it in action.

Answer:	I own both kayaks and I would rather go with the explore to kayak, the reason is the Explorer - is self bailing has better seats that raise you out of the water in the bottom of the boat has an upturned nose to keep water from splashing you paddles are better quality. I have taken the explorer down a class 3 river the cabarrton river in Idaho with no problems. Take the skeg off if you do rivers, will just cause you problems if you dont, mainly you will loose it. Only use tue skeg in lakes or ponds.

Answer:	These shoes are good for snorkeling and walking on Rocky sandy beaches but we're not supposed to walk on Coral
Question:	Will it fit a Equinox 10.4 kayak
Answer:	I think light hiking on smooth trails would be fine anything else I wouldn't trust them. They are made of mesh and would not in anyway protect stubbed toes on uneven trails with lots of rocks and could collect grainy bits easily. I question if they would be durable enough for a solid hike. We used them in a setting where our activity level was close to a rigorous hike but on manicured paths. The shoes did allow some sand in at the beach but the water cleared it out well. We hike as a family often and I wouldn't wear these apart from novice heavy trafficked trails. If I try them hiking I'll update this to let you know how that worked for me.

Answer:	I too have foot pain issues secondary to flat feet. these provide the most arch support and cushion that I have ever found in a water shoe. my feet hurt so bad when I wore regular water shoes. I just love these shoes as it is like wearing a good supportive sneaker but for the water. I wore them to a water park and walking around on the concrete my feet did not hurt at all when ordinarily they would. i highly recommend these!

Question:	How does this attach to a sit on kayak
Answer:	To attach the seat to a sit-on-top kayak there must be four D-ring fittings on the deck of the kayak - two forward and two aft. If the kayak doesn't have these already they can be purchased on Amazon for a small amount, just search for 'kayak D-rings'. Once you have, or if the kayak already has, the four D-rings you simply clip the straps to these and adjust as necessary. I hope this helps. Answer:	Straps are about 24” long....with the buckle you’ll have about 25” total loop length to go around your seat. The pad is a bit stiff but it works well with the fabric backrest. Nice canoe seat for the cost.

Answer:	Yes, however, I needed to purchase some screw clips to install on the kayak. You can then install the strap clips wherever you need them. The screw clips can be found on line and are very reasonable in cost (cheap). My grandson loves the seat and no more toasted buns for him.

Answer:	I have no idea what you are talking about. This is an excellent seat in every way. It was easy to install on my grandsons kayak and has great padding for your butt and back. Also, with Amazon, if you do not like it for whatever reason, you can send it back for a credit. We bought it for the great price and everything was adjustable.
Question:	Will this fit a Perception Swifty
Answer:	Not sure it would be rigid enough for you to use on a paddle board. Our kayak has a molded plastic seat that this slips over. It isn't very sturdy for an independent seat back
Question:	How tall and wide is the back section on this
Answer:	Yes, I put this in my Pelican sit-in over the existing seat and backrest. It comes with 4 heavy brass clips attached to 4 straps. I hooked the 4 clips, 2 per side, to carabiners that I hooked through a loop in my existing backrest strap near the point where it attaches to the sides of the kayak. A little adjusting of the straps and voila. Very comfortable.

Question:	We lost the removable skeg on our Intex Challenger K2 Kayak and were wondering if we could buy a replacement part
Answer:	Both the Tribe 135 and the Rambler 135 can be used in similar paddling environments. The Tribe will provide you with more comfort due to the improved seating system and better performance (more efficient moving through the water to your destination). Additionally, the Tribe includes hatch storage at both the front and rear seat. If stability is a concern, you cannot go wrong with either model. Both are designed to provide confidence for all paddlers; beginners to experienced.
Question:	IS THIS PRODUCT DURRABLE
Answer:	I have ordered 6 kayaks and 4 have come so far. 3 where shipped NSD and arrived on different days missing most of its packaging. The 4th was shipped with Pilot and it arrived with All its packaging in place.
Question:	how does it work in a river were it can drag on rocks at times
Answer:	I kept looking several times an hour. They pop up every day in some style it seems. Took me a while to find style and color I wanted as I bought 6. 2 in each size. Good luck! My persistance paid off.

Answer:	I think that would depend on where you live. Ours came from a delivery service, not from fedex or ups.
