Question:	How do I know if I have inflated kayak to the proper amount
Answer:	Adjust for temperature change!! Follow the chamber order but if the air temp is 85 degrees F. and the water is 50 degrees it's best to let the kayak sit in the water for at least 15 minutes then check chambers again. Cold temps will reduce pressure and you could end up with a sagging kayak mid stream.

Answer:	It's easy to get in and out, since it is a sit-upon kayak. It is fairly stable. I had my 71 year old sister use it last week, and she had never kayaked before. SHe loved it and had no trouble on a broad Michigan river(no rapids but a strong current). She had trouble getting up out of the kayak, not due to the kayak but to her difficulty making her thighs work to go from squat to stand--after sitting with legs stretched out for two hours this is going to be a problem with any kayak if you're 70.

Answer:	I have a trolling motor setup that I use on my Colorado kayak. I know that Sevylor sells a trolling motor and battery that fits this boat's "trolling motor mount" but it is a very small motor and mount with not much power and the battery won't last very long. This boat can hold up to 470lbs and is designed to be fished and hunted in all day. A small motor that only runs for an hour isn't what I was looking for. So I ended up purchasing a Minn Kota Endura 30lb thrust trolling motor and a 100amphour group 27 AGM battery. (Both from amazon) This motor and battery is not designed for an inflatable kayak so if you wanted to go this route, you'd have to build your own mount, which is what I did. You may also be able to purchase a motor mount that would work. A few notes that I learned through this process:1) The battery is what matters most. It weighs the most (mine is almost 60lbs which takes away from my boats weight capacity), it cost the most and it determines how long you can stay out on the water between charges. My battery/motor combination moves this boat at 3-5mph with 2 adults on board at the highest speed on the trolling motor for 8-10hours. That's a 2 day fishing trip. 2) The battery's AMP HOURS determines how many amps the motor can draw over so many hours. For instance... The minn Kota Endura 30 has an amp draw of 10-13amps per hour of running. My 100amp hour battery supplies that 10-13 amps each hour for 8-10 hours before I need to recharge. Had I bought a 200amp hour battery theoretically I should be able to go twice as long between recharges. 3) You can buy a cheap automotive battery for $99 but you should expect to replace it every year and I wouldn't rely on one in an inflatable. Or you can buy an AGM battery which is higher quality, will last 5-10 years with proper maintenance, and is less likely to fail on you when you need it. If piece of mind and time on the water is your primary concern then go with an AGM of at least 80amphours. If cost is your factor then go with an everstart deep cycle. 4) The weight of the trolling motor must be offset. If you just hang a 17lb motor off the side of your boat, it's going to ride funny in the water dipping down on the motor side. My solution was to build an anchor holder and winch on the opposite side of my motor mount which balanced the weight of the trolling motor on the other side. I have seen a motor mount with a "ballast" (heavy piece on metal) to offset the motor weight. This particular mount was metal and fit into the fishing pole holders on the back of the boat. 5) You need the boat, motor, mount, battery, power center (battery box), and a good battery charger. My final thoughts: I love this boat. I have been fishing in the California Sierras from Pinecrest to Shasta and it is a great boat and a lot of fun to customize and enjoy. I like it so much I recently bought a second boat for friends and family who visit. It's a fantastic kayak as it is but it's even more fun with a nice powerful motor/battery pushing it. My girlfriend and I call it the Trout-slayer. It's a silent stalker and the fish don't even know you're there.

Answer:	Sevylor states the dimensions of this kayak are 12 ft. 3 in. x 3 ft. 1 in. After using it twice now, these seem to be very accurate. We do not use it for three persons, only two. It has plenty of room for myself (6'00") and my wife who is 5'07". It's very steady in the water and tracks suprising well.

Answer:	For me, the mounts get in the way. I sit or lean forward or aft of the mounts and paddle with a standard kayak paddle. It paddles easily, just be sure to get the proper length paddle according to your height and kayak width. I recommend a 250 cm length - it is a wide kayak. This kayak is great for relaxing and fishing - just be careful of the hooks inside the boat (outside has a great nylon cover, the inside is exposed and susceptible to sharp objects).

Answer:	Technically the specification states the maximum load as 250 lbs. However, my wife and I exceed that by at least 100 lbs and there didn't seem to be any issues. I have taken the explorer down a class 3 river the cabarrton river in Idaho with no problems. Take the skeg off if you do rivers, will just cause you problems if you dont, mainly you will loose it. Only use tue skeg in lakes or ponds.

Answer:	When I bought mine I was very surprised at how rugged it is the bow in the sides are made of the same material like a zodiac inflatable boat very thick and stout the bottom is also good material. I drugged mine not for a long time but over rocks sticks and no punctures. That's not to say I would drag it a quarter mile down the road but it is very rugged very well made. Answer:	It probably does work. Just doesn’t start registering on the gauge until you reach about 7 psi. The board will look pretty inflated at 7 psi. This is common for a lot of inflatable SUP hand pumps. Just keep pumping until you get to 13-15 psi. Good board!
Question:	Can one person and a medium sized dog fit on this
Answer:	Yes, I think that would be fine since the board says it can accommodate up to 350 lbs. The boards are made of very thick, sturdy vinyl and the black fabric part on the back half of the board is not slippery at all, so your dog would probably like that rather than the white part up front which is very slippery.

Answer:	I believe so. After some research I found sources stating that there is drop stitching.

Answer:	Unfortunately, I don't think the fins that fit this particular board are available for sale anywhere. The connecting system and size/shape of the fins are unusual. I lost one of the smaller side fins awhile ago and contacted FunWater several times asking if I could purchase a replacement. They responded that they would send me one but never did.

Answer:	I wouldn’t. My wife cooks a pair every few months from sweat. Her hair seems to cause the problem. My short hair allows them to stay drier and I’ve never damaged a set. That said I think submersion would be bad. Company has an awesome return policy though.

Answer:	Bought for my daughter for Xmas. She hasn’t used yet, but her experience with an inflatable paddle-board with 8 year-old onboard suggest that the Lab shouldn’t be problem.

Answer:	It is designed to use with the included bag, but you can make it work with a pump if you have the right size attachment or you can attach the bag and insert the pump hose into the bag and hold it very tight around the hose. However, I was not personally able to get it to be really full/rigid without using the bag. What we do is attach the bag, insert the pump hose into the bag and hold this tightly closed around the pump hose. You can get it to about 90% full this way. After that we had to use the bag the rest of the way.
Question:	Is this a self bailer that can handle Class 3 rapids
Answer:	Hello, The main difference is the change in patch kit. The kit now consists of self-adhesive repair tape that is fully waterproof when cured, providing a more reliable patch.
Question:	If I am mainly going to kayak by myself, are the single kayak inflatables a lot easier to maneuver than this type
Answer:	At 6'5" 200lbs the boat worked great. Did not attempt to carry my gear onboard, just paddling around the lake. A little water will get in as you enter and exit the boat. It is well constructed, not a toy boat. Overall, a good investment for expanding your ability to explore the lake. Btw, did not buy paddles, hand paddling moves the boat just fine. A real paddle might be too much for the low freeboard.

Answer:	You can put one or two seats "anywhere" inside the kayak. I actually took one seat and turned it around when I go out paddling by myself, to use as additional backrest to my seat, although it's not necessary. You wont be disappointed.

Answer:	It generally costs as much to ship this product internationally as it does to purchase. Therefore the cost doubles.
Question:	Do you get the delux seats in this kayak
Answer:	I really do not think it would be an issue. This kayak feels to be thicker than an above ground pool liner. If it does puncture they give patches so you can fix it.

Answer:	TBuy the SE370. You can't add needed space later. Also get the Pro package seats. They are worth the additional price for comfort and support. The SE330 is just too tight for most people. I wish I had bought the SE370.
