If you want to convert a U.S. men’s size into women’s, simply add 2 sizes (men’s size 7 = women’s size 9). However, that is not an exact mathematical calculation because men’s footwear (in general) tends to run larger in size and width. Sneakers/Trainers tend to run a 1.5 sizing difference. The best recommendation would be to go to the shoe brand’s website (in this case, Nike) to see their gender sizing conversion chart. I'm a 7 wide and the 7 gave me room in toebox, not too much, just enough. With high arches, the "sock" part is a bit snug, I can only wear thin socks. Which is fine, I live in warm climate.
