Answer:	i found this product link from a site that reviewed knee braces for hiking... this was their number 1 choice. it is $9. i was considering knee braces that were up to $70. there are over 3700 reviews and 84% of them are 4 or 5 stars. so you can do the math on that. verified purchase means they handed amazon money for this product. the product has free returns from amazon. i ordered another set of knee braces that i didn't like and i returned them for a full refund from amazon. i am taking a chance with this one as it was recommended by the hiking site. if you're concerned, do some research. google "best knee braces..." for whatever it is that you do that you want the knee braces for. i'm actually really tired of seeing a product with thousands of reviews (mostly 4 and 5 stars) where hundreds of people have found the 1 star review helpful (and so it goes right to the top) where the reviewer says, "it's crap don't buy it, it broke..." or "it doesn't work" or worse... Answer:	If you have chronic knee pain during cycling, see a doctor! I gave myself permanent knee injury this way and I'm not alone. This strap is for patellar tendonitis/tendonosis, also called jumpers knee. I have this permanently from cycling too much, and it works for me in all situations and activities, to an extent. Without it I hurt always. With it, I can ride a bike for 30 minutes (7 miles on city streets) twice a day, every day. If you have another condition like runners knee, it probably won't help. Again see a doctor.
