Answer:	i had considered the same question. i decided to drill holes rather than risking it. the unit itself weighs ~half of 1 battery, but it requires 4 batteries. if you think your doublesided tape will keep up 4.5 batteries with no issue, then you've got your answer.

Answer:	I have one in my storage building it is a 10 by 12 at 8 feet it lights all of it. the other light is in a screened in porch light is mounted 12 feet high lights up a larger area with plenty enough light to get around in.if you want something real bright get mr. beam spot light

Answer:	This has more to do with your batteies than the LED light. Alkaline batteries perform very poorly when they are below freezing. If you use rechargeable NiMH batteries then the light can operate down to -20C or even lower. I know this becasue I have this light powered byTenergy Centura rechargeable C cells in my (unheated) garage. During last winter the outdoor temperature can drop to 0F (-18C) at night, and the light still works.
