Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it for horseback riding because it's less deep in your rear.

Answer:	I don't see any of the referenced certifications for this helmet; search elsewhere for certified helmets.

Answer:	It is meant for biking not sure it would hold up in salt water or any water?

Answer:	No, not really. It's a strip of shiny silver metal which may have some reflective properties but I wouldn't depend on it to alert drivers or other bikers. I plan to wear a reflective vest when biking in the city, and probably going to put a flashing red light either on my bike or the helmet for after dark. Stay safe!

Question:	I am right at 22 inches and 57cm so i am not sure if i should size up or down? because technically both the s/m and the l/xl would fit. which do i get
Answer:	I’d say the s/m. I measured at 21 exactly and technically could have gone either xs/s or s/m....went with the xs/s and glad I did. It’s a good snug fit but not tight and you can adjust nicely with the two sets of pads they give you. Hope that helps!

Answer:	Measure the circumference of your head just above your eyebrows. Below are the size listings. You can also check the manufacturer's website. Answer:	Yes because of the ASTM F1492 certification. It means that the helmet should be able to withstand multiple smaller impacts without breaking. The ASTM F1492 certification is for skateboarding. A lot of people also use it for rollerblading. The CPSC certification also means that it certified for cycling.

Answer:	If your asking what the “value” is in regards to safety, it has protected my daughters brain during her competitive snowboard season. Many falls but many metals as well! If your asking what it’s used for, not sure that needs anymore explaination....

Answer:	Thanks very much for your interest. 450 gr for the S-M helmet and 490 gr for the L-XL helmet. What's important to know is that our helmet is made for commuters and commuters are riding their bike in average 30mn in the morning and same in the evening. Question:	Is this helmet waterproof and can it be submerged? Wondering if, in addition to cycling, I can also use it for casual water sports, such as kayaking
Answer:	Vulnerable areas to repeated soaking would be the metal bits - springs in the locking mechanism, pins in the hinges. Also the protecting foam inside, which may not be designed for repeated or prolonged submersion. While occasional rain is no problem, frequent soaking would probably be damaging, and I would expect any exposure to salt water would definitely cause issues. Especially to the foam and the spring lock. This is only a lay opinion based on looking at it and guessing that it was designed to be weather resistant but not specifically for aquatic use. Manufacturer may have more official input to offer.

Answer:	Ugh, that is a tough question. You are right on the cut off according to the size chart. I did not measure my son, he is 12, I ordered the S/M. It's big on him but we can tighten it to work. I would go with the S/M. Great company, ships fast and I bet they would exchange if you choose the wrong size.
Question:	Has anyone used this helmet to mount a Go Pro? Is it pretty easy
Answer:	I have been meaning to but haven't had a chance to yet. I was going to use one of the stick on helmet mounts instead of the Vented Helmet Strap Mount because ot the way the holes are. I'm satisfied so far with the helmet.
