Answer:	Yes, they will work. Don't expect to get them all the way down to the closed end of the bars, though. Put them on the open end of the bars. You can set up your bars so the open end is closer than the clamp, or further away.

Answer:	It is 5 3/4 inches from the end of the bar to the very beginning of the curved radius. The grips I have are 4 1/8 inches measured from inside the grip and the brake pull fits with room to spare. Maybe you could trim the grip just a little?
