Answer:	Warranty only covers parts and not labor. I was able to get Amazon to provide a refund because I was just outside the 30 day return window. With the cost of labor, you might as well throw the bike in the trash.

Question:	Is the RoyalBaby writing on the bikeframe removable? I don't think my reading kid will want to ride on a bike for babies
Answer:	No. Definitely part of the bike I bought and not able to be removed. See 3-star review from 6/25/16 for pictures. I bought this bike for my 5-yr old as his first "big kid" bike. However, I probably wouldn't have, had I known it had the word "Baby" written all over it. To be fair, the company name is "Royal Baby" but I had no idea it would be plastered with so many instances of the word. The tire tread, for example, is made with the words "Royal Baby" over and over again. It is also on the handle bars, pedals, and a couple other spots (see picture).
Question:	tall which size bike
Answer:	My 5 year old is 42 in and we went with the 14 in. Which was perfect. With the seat in the lowest setting she is still about 1/2 an inch from having her feet flat on the ground. She should be able to ride the 14 in for another 2 years I'd say. It's tempting to go with the larger size since they can use it longer, but a bigger/heavier bike is more difficult to learn to ride on if your kid is still learning to ride w/o training wheels. Im very happy I went with the 14 in

What is Schwinn SmartStart? It is a complete redesign of bike geometry to better match a child's body type to create a more comfortable, ideal riding position. This includes a lighter bike frame for added control, smaller grip diameters to match smaller hands, and a more narrow pedal position to match children's smaller hips. Other kids bikes are just shrunken down versions of adult bikes.

On a SmartStart bike, there will be less wobble while the child pedals so they will feel more confident and comfortable while going through the learning process. Plus, the seat angle was changed so as the seat is raised the reach distance to the handlebar also increases; meaning that the bike will fit your child longer.

Schwinn Elm with 12-Inch Wheels

Fits children 2 – 4 years old, or 28 – 38 inches tall. Adjustable saddle and a slack seat-tube angle allow the bike to grow with your child. Choose a balance bike for the rider just starting to get their balance or the 12-Inch with training wheels.
