Answer:	Yes the wheels are long enough for that size tire. However, the issue we had was there being enough room on the actual bolts of the bike to attach these. These have a bent frame where it fastens to the bike, it’s not flat, so they didn’t function properly for us. Our bike bolts weren’t long enough to accommodate the additional 1/2 - 3/4 inch this required on either side.

How to install:



Step 1: Connect the training wheel and the support rod together. First assemble bolts, wheels, washers, bracket arms and nuts in order, and then fix them with a wrench.



Step 2: Loosen the rear axle nut of the bicycle, then fix the stop block, and fix the pointed horn of the stop block on the bicycle frame.



Step 3: According to the size of the bicycle or wheel, select the appropriate hole position on the support rod. Fix them with nuts.





Overweight or overspeed may damage the training wheels. If it happens, please contact us for a replacement.

What is Schwinn SmartStart? It is a complete redesign of bike geometry to better match a child's body type to create a more comfortable, ideal riding position. This includes a lighter bike frame for added control, smaller grip diameters to match smaller hands, and a more narrow pedal position to match children's smaller hips. Other kids bikes are just shrunken down versions of adult bikes.

On a SmartStart bike, there will be less wobble while the child pedals so they will feel more confident and comfortable while going through the learning process. Plus, the seat angle was changed so as the seat is raised the reach distance to the handlebar also increases; meaning that the bike will fit your child longer.

Fits children 2 – 4 years old, or 28 – 38 inches tall. Adjustable saddle and a slack seat-tube angle allow the bike to grow with your child and comes with training wheels.

Fits children 5 - 7 years old, or 42 - 52 inches tall. Adjustable saddle and a slack seat-tube angle allow the bike to grow with your child.

Answer:	The term "fixie" implies that the pedals will continue to move either forward or backward with the rear wheel's direction, whether or not the child is actually pedaling. So technically it is NOT a fixie, but a "freewheel," which means that when the child stops pedaling, they can coast without the pedals continuing to turn. If you mean is it a single gear in the back, then yes.
Question:	Can the training wheels be removed? And can you back pedal to brake or do you have to use the handbrake
Answer:	The training wheels can be removed. It comes with Coaster brake, which is easily to pedal backward to stop the bike.

Question:	Too hard to pedal & wobbly rear wheel
Answer:	My 4 year old daughter doesn’t have much problem peddling the bike. Maybe if she gets stuck on a crack in the side walk or something. The training wheels don’t stay on well and constantly need tightening, and the bikes tires needed more inflation too. Our rear tire isn’t wobbly.
