Answer:	I’d say the s/m. I measured at 21 exactly and technically could have gone either xs/s or s/m....went with the xs/s and glad I did. It’s a good snug fit but not tight and you can adjust nicely with the two sets of pads they give you. Hope that helps!

Answer:	Measure the circumference of your head just above your eyebrows. Below are the size listings. You can also check the manufacturer's website. The helmet has two sets of inserts to create an individualized fit. Size XS/S fits 20 – 21.25 in (51 – 54 cm), S/M fits 21 – 22.5 in (53 – 57 cm), L/XL fits 22.5 – 23.5 in (57 – 60 cm)

Answer:	Yes because of the ASTM F1492 certification. It means that the helmet should be able to withstand multiple smaller impacts without breaking. The ASTM F1492 certification is for skateboarding. A lot of people also use it for rollerblading. The CPSC certification also means that it certified for cycling.

Answer:	If your asking what the “value” is in regards to safety, it has protected my daughters brain during her competitive snowboard season. Many falls but many metals as well! If your asking what it’s used for, not sure that needs anymore explaination....

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it for horseback riding because it's less deep in your rear.

Answer:	I don't see any of the referenced certifications for this helmet; search elsewhere for certified helmets.

Answer:	It is meant for biking not sure it would hold up in salt water or any water?

Answer:	No, not really. It's a strip of shiny silver metal which may have some reflective properties but I wouldn't depend on it to alert drivers or other bikers. I plan to wear a reflective vest when biking in the city, and probably going to put a flashing red light either on my bike or the helmet for after dark. Stay safe!

Answer:	Don’t know which model you are looking at. Mine measures about 34.5” across the bottom and the lid measures 38” across.

Answer:	if you have a bar rack on the back you can place the box onto the bar rack and drill through the plastic at an ;location to secure the box. there is no preset holes in the box you drill where needed, took me 20 to install on my MOTO and love it.

Answer:	Take a soft measuring tape and wrap it around your head about one inch above your eyebrows and ears. Make sure the tape is level. Most helmets are measured in centimeters, so measure your head in centimeters if you can. In case you don't have a centimeter tape, the conversion ratio is 1 inch = 2.54 cm. Then, choose a helmet size to match your measurement. Don’t have a soft tape measure? Take a piece of string and wrap it around your head, then measure the string.

Answer:	In my experience this helmet runs a little "narrow". If your son has regular shaped head then follow the sizing chart would be the prudent thing to do. But if he has a wide head, go one size up will avoid his temples been snug against the paddings.

Answer:	Best I can say is: when I put it on my head fully open, I turn the tightening knob 12 clicks to shrink it to my size. Just measured my head and it was about 23" or 58 cm. it tightens beyond that still another 15 clicks. My sons can tighten it down to their size as well (they're mid teens).

Answer:	Yes I did Live! I was going 20+ mph down hill on a concrete side walk and the next think I knew I was flying over my handle bars. My head hit hard. It is the best $16 I have ever spend on my life.
