Answer:	I wish I could help you out. The sleeves that they come in are in Chinese. I can tell you that they do prevent sunburn. I use them when I work in the yard, fish, garden etc. Haven't been exposed to the sun as yet. I have had skin cancer and don't like to get any sun on my arms. It is cooler and easier to put these on rather than another long sleeve shirt over the one I have on at the time. They do snag and get dirty of course. I just wash them out in the sink and let them dry tilI I need them again.

Answer:	It is breathable material, but I don't necessarily know that you would feel the wind blow through it unless it was a very strong wind. I still haven't found them to be too uncomfortable in Southern summer heat.
