Question:	Does a safety flag come with it
Answer:	I have twice. I satisfied the wish of a female friend I knew because she wanted to take a spin on it around the parking lot; I did better and went around the block. She was only about 93-101 pounds dripping wet, but it handled like it always had, her being live cargo did not affect anything, the wheels did not bend, nor did the axle. The other time was my brother who clearly weighs close to me at around 175 lb. Again no damage to the trailer, though I could tell there was weight but still not much more than when I loaded it down with dead weight.
Question:	Does this come with the orange safety flag, also does the plastic sides roll down so you won't overheat your child
Answer:	No. I'm even thinking of modifying my e-bike throttle so it will not be possible to exceed 10mph without flipping an over-ride switch when the trailer is attached. I also always wear a helmet and leather gloves, but would absolutely never tow a trailer at any speed without wearing safety gear. IMPORTANT LEGAL INFO: Keep in mind that in the U.S. in SOME states an ebike (or a "scooter") that can exceed 20mph is considered a MOTORCYCLE, which means insurance, a driver's license, and vehicle registration. In addition, if you pull a trailer with such a vehicle the trailer may also require registration...which you MAY be unable to obtain for something like this.
Question:	Can I use this with one kid? I have one son but we plan on having more so I figure I might as well get one that sits two. Would the weight be shifted
Answer:	I took these off the day after I purchased this trailer and never put them back on. Removing them allowed the trailer to fit through my doors and, in my opinion, improved the looks of the trailer greatly. It's been 18 months of use, at least weekly, carrying all sorts of loads and I've had no issues, structural or otherwise. The only problem I've had with this trailer, in fact, is with the axle pins bending but this was caused by overloading and taking corners to fast and nothing to do with the siderails.
Question:	what is weight capacity
Answer:	22" wide x 31" long at the inside bottom and the top of the side rail is 14" high. plenty of room for a big cart full of groceries. 3 years of trouble free use so far. Including Wisconsin winters. I did replace the tires and tubes almost right away.

Answer:	The Thule chariot cx 1 has an infant sling. Unfortunately, they are very expansive and rare in the US, meaning that getting them at a discount or used does not happen often. It all depends where you ride it, how you ride it and what quality all of the equipment is. Pushing a stroller or jogging with one is not different. So, yes, there is equipment out there that allows you to put an infant in a trailer that is safe but it costs over $1000. If you are into it though that system converts into a stroller, a skiing trailer and so on.
Question:	Is the tire air tires? If yes are they all air tires
Answer:	The two tires on the side of the trailer are are tires, the tire that you install to use as a stroller is plastic and not air filled.
Question:	Do kids need to wear helmets while in the trailer
Answer:	I have this trailer and was riding with a 3 yr old and 15 month old. I had an accident and did a "superman" over the front of my bike, flipping my bike, going about 15 mph. They wore no helmets. The trailer tipped to one side. While both were scared, neither one was hurt. If I were on a busier road, I would helmet them but the trailer makes it hard for the seat to be comfortable because it pushes their head forward where the helmet rests against the back of the seat. Use best judgement- the "cage" is metal and can endure some damage but then again, little brains don't like to be shaken.
Question:	Is this trailer suitable for a 5 month old in a car seat and a toddler on the other side
Answer:	Absolutely NOT! Car seats are designed to be used in a CAR! The bike trailer is not as stable as the back seat of your car and hence the ride for the infant will be much more bumpy. The infant does not have the neck strength to withstand a pothole or big bump. And while you might think you will be careful not to ride over any potholes, etc. the risk is too great! You'll need to be watching traffic, and things like the the trailer's clearance when riding along a street with parked cars or pedestrians on a boardwalk. With that many things to keep in mind you are taking an unnecessary chance with your child's health and well being. And finally, the manufacturer says this trailer is NOT for children under 12 months old, AND in addition to being 12 months old, they need to be able to hold their own head up, and sit up on their own. Please do not take the risk.

Answer:	If your E bike is a hub drive model and the left side of the rear axle is the same as a standard bike, then it should fit. If there is wiring that comes out of the left side axle (most hub drives have it on the right side) then this will not fit. Additionally, this coupler is only designed to fit with a Retrospec trailer. It is not designed to fit with other brands of trailers.

Answer:	Yes, I use mine with one kid as I only have one daughter. I want another kid too soon and I figured I can take along friends. I also love the extra space for her diaper bag or anything we take with us. She also enjoys the extra room!

Answer:	I’d go with the lowest weight limit that has been found- I would think 40 would be plenty for this thing. I love it but I wouldn’t put too much weight in it. Great for our 1 year old, gonna try our 2 year old should be fine this year, if it last for the 3 year old Summer, it was way more than worth it! Got it on sale for $70 and had a great time last year! Get a helmet for safety.

Answer:	Don't know. Helmet was a gift. Really and truly though 2 to 5 yr olds who use the helmet should not be unsupervized and facing the risk of high impact. There are supposedly guidelines wrt safety gear but cannot answer your specific question.
Question:	Does this come with a 360 degree hitch. So if I go down on the bike the trailer stays upright? Is this an issue
Answer:	Yes - this should easily fit a 3 year old unless they are a larger than normal size. I bought it for a 1 year old, but he is huge (the size of most older 2 year old's) and I still have to tighten it up on him for a secure fit.
Question:	Does it have a strap in the middle if only one child is riding
Answer:	My kids head is 48 cm and it's too deep! It comes down over her eyes. I've tried adjusting it, lifting it up repeatedly, and even sunglasses. Somehow, it seemed like the sunglasses kept it up. But, now she doesn't want to wear it anymore and I think outs because it's uncomfortable. I realize I should've gotten the INFANT size, which I think fits up to 50 cm.
Question:	if you throw it off a cliff will it survive
Answer:	I forget what the measurement was, we bought this awhile back. I used a piece of string to get the distance around her head then measured the string. I had to convert the measurement from inches to cm to get the right fit. Once all of that was done and we got the helmet, yes it did fit and it is very lightweight so there is not a lot of pressure on the child's neck.

Answer:	45 lbs is pretty big for this trailer. My guy is 35 lbs and he is comfortable sitting up in it, but it's a tight fit laying down and he dislikes it. So, assuming yours will stand up the entire time, you gotta take wide turns and maintain a low center of gravity to ensure the trailer doesn't tip. Mine jumped out a few times, so you have to attach them with the built in short leash. A mirror looking back is critical so you can see what he's doing... I'd do lots of short rides in safe, uncongested places before taking him in any environment where there are peripheral dangers such as traffic, lots of people, and swerving.
Question:	Can the seat be removed or unsnapped

Answer:	I just spoke with Schwinn and they confirmed that this product has a weight limit of ONLY 80 lbs. They said they have tried contacting websites/sellers to correct this but it is up to the discretion of the site to correct it. She further stated that each seat is only rated for 40 lbs. So you can't have a 20 lb child sitting with a 60 lb child. For further information, please call Schwinn.
