Question:	anyone with road wheels concerned about weight of the bike damaging the wheel
Answer:	I have three of these racks, all of them supporting heavy "beach cuisers" in vertical positions. I would suggest mounting the rack at a height that allows the bike to rest on the rear tire, thereby taking some of the weight off the rack. This has kept a lot of stress off the rack(wall) as well as the front wheel. I've not had any visible damage to any of my front wheels.
Question:	Does this system put a lot of weight (the whole bike) on the rim of the front wheel? Does it not bend the rim after awhile
Answer:	The weight it puts on the wheel in this position is nowhere near the amount of force that's applied when you sit on it. Remember that spokes are designed to take hanging force, not rigid vertical force from the bottom. So hanging on the spokes like this is exactly what they are designed to do.
Question:	If I am hanging multiple racks side by side, alternating higher and lower, how much clearance between the racks do I need to leave
Answer:	I was limited for space on my 60" wall, so I hung four brackets 12" apart and like you're planning, alternated them between high and low. I own four 26" Specialized mountain bikes with standard length handlebars. To make them fit, I inverted (faced downwards) the lower bracketed bikes and kept the upper bracketed bikes facing upwards. The clearance between the handlebars is 1-2". The reason I hang it that way is so I can take any bike out without having it interfere with the others. Hope this helps.
Question:	Is the bike rigidly perpendicular to the wall or does the bike to swing from side to side when hanging on this rack
Answer:	It won't necessarily swing on its own but no, it does not lock rigidly into position. That said, even if you were to bump into the bike while it was hanging there, it would fall off the hook.

Answer:	I installed this today on my Vilano Diverse 3.0 (53cm model). Works well so far. No issues, installed easily with the included bracket and long bolt. I does not interfere with the pedals. The bottom half of the kickstand is plastic but it feels solid. I like the look of the kickstand overall, it is much nicer than the cheap generic ones sold at Wallymart. I did not extend the kickstand all the way, it would have been too long, so if you have the larger Vilano (57cm) it will probably work as well.
Question:	Will this fit a Diamondback Dual Sport
Answer:	Yes. It's adjustable, so fit all bikes. I do have GT Transeo Dual Sport and fit perfectly.
Question:	Could anyone tell me the size of the hex bit I need for the short bolt
Answer:	The above answer is no longer correct. They are shipping it with new bolts and the shorted hex bolt key is so large I dont have an allen wrench that will fit it..... Larger than 8mm now.

Two ways of installation

a. Locate your chain stays as shown in the photo.

b. Check if you have mounting plate(flat plate with hole for screw) between your chain stay. If you do, go to the 1st right image. If you don't, go to the 2nd right image.

Bicycle with mounting plate (Use short bolt)

1. Remove the screw, washer and metal bracket off the top of the kickstand.

2. Place the kickstand underneath the plate, adjust height by pushing lever. (To further lock into place. using Allen key to tighten the flat screw underneath the latch.)

3. Place screw in hole to match with the kickstand and tighten by an Allen key or wrench.

Bicycle without mounting plate (Use long bolt)

1. Remove screw, washer and metal bracket.

2. Place the kickstand between the chain stays.

3. Place the metal bracket on top of the chain stays.

4. Tighten the kickstand by tighten the screw and washer with a wrench.

Answer:	I have a rear bike rack and it fits okay. You should be able to look at the upright picture of the bike on the bike stand and judge if your bike rack will work. From the picture you can see that if your bike rack was so long that it would extend past the rear tire then it would not work because it would be touching the floor.
Question:	Will it fall? I want to make sure it's sturdy enough
Answer:	It seems sturdy enough and it's has pretty good balance to it. Haven't had it fall yet.
Question:	I am assembling the bike rack and would like to know what the 10 small black spacers are for? The instructions do not even mention them

Question:	Can someone confirm distance between the two top screw holes of part that attaches to wall? Have a stud to attach to but stud width is only 1.5 in
Answer:	Not far. The top bar has a flat hunk of plastic (an inch or so thick) that must make direct contact with the wall. The legs curve forward a bit, and they probably sit about a foot from the wall, I reckon.
Question:	Will this fit on a Pivot Mach 429 Trail mtn bike

Answer:	I can't speak for the maker but there are exposed connections and the switch which would definitely short out is submerged. Dampness should not be a problem.

Answer:	The coil at the top becomes hot and will melt plastic. I guess I do not know what type of waterer you are talking about. I built a small cage around the ones I purchased from Amazon to make sure they would not touch any plastic parts. BUT--there is not a lot of extra room under mine so be sure to measure first so it will still fit. Behlen Country AHW80 Electric Heated Cattle & Horse Waterer is similar to what I have for our beef cattle.

Question:	The mtb's stated range is 43-62mm, has anyone tried it with 700x45c tires? if so, did it feel loose, since it's at the lower end of the range
Answer:	I can't address this directly since I;ve got 700x35 tires -- but I got the "hybrid" CLUG which is rated for 33-42mm tires so I'm also at the lower end of the range. There's a no wobble, as the thing expands to accept the tire and then closes around it. But there's a bit of slop in how the rest of the bike sits on the ground. I've had it for more than six months now and have never had a problem mounting the bike.
Question:	Does it need to screw into the wall studs to hold the bike vs. the dry wall
Answer:	The instructions say not to use it in drywall... only wooden stud, brick, or concrete. There's not much force on it when the bike is hanging there, but if you have thick tires, it seems like it puts a lot of force on the screws when pulling the bike out of the clip.
Question:	What size drill bit is required for the pilot hole? and size of the anchor
Answer:	I do not recall which size drill bit I used be cause I simply used a bit smaller in diameter than the screw. This method was sufficient for me to screw it into a wall. The main concern is what kind of wall or surface you plan to screw into.
Question:	will the friction of install/removal eventually wear on the sidewall of tires? (at least points of install are random
Answer:	I've had it for a year, haven't noticed any wear on my tires. I would hope you wear your tires out from riding before the sidewalls from the friction of pulling the bike in and out of the clug.

Indicated size ranges are based on your Actual physical tire width. It's best to go old fashion, get your ruler out and measure the width of your tire.

Step 1: Do you have the right Clug?

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to check that the Clug you got is the right size for your tire.

As a handy guide, we also put the maximum and minimum sizes for each Clug right on the side of the box. Just hold it up to your tire and check to see that it is within the range.

Note: Clug is a tiny bike rack that works with your floor to store your bike. Clug can't Hang your bike, it doesn't work that way and you might hurt your back trying. We wouldn't want that.

Step 2: Location and Alignment

Time to figure out where your Clug is going. Once you’ve found your section of the wall, you can use the alignment guide on the box to get your hole spacing marked precisely.

Holding your bike in the position you want it (you can get a friend to help here), you’ll want to align the position of your Clug with the centre of your wheel, where the tire touches the wall.

Step 3: Drills, Holes, and Anchors

You’ll need to drill some holes if you are putting Clug on anything other than wood surface (or a stud in the wall). To drill, just stick your template lightly to the wall and drill right through the guide.

If you drilled holes, insert the anchors from your box into the holes to give you something to screw into.

Step 4: Screws, Clip, and Grip

Separate the Clipper from the Gripper and screw the Clipper into the wall.

You’ll be able to make small adjustments before you tighten the screws fully, to make sure that your Clug is level.

Snap the Gripper in to cover the screw heads, and you’re ready to Clug!

Question:	So is this correct there is no height adjustment
Answer:	As long as the rope is. Mine is on a normal size garage ceiling height. I have plenty of rope left over. However, even if it was three stories high, you could just add another length of rope to accommodate it.
Question:	I have two very light Carbon bikes (road and tri). Will having too light weight compromise stability of this stand
Answer:	This doesn’t happen with mine. Try to keep the cords from the pulleys to the bike perpendicular, i.e. avoid angle.
Question:	Can 2 bikes be mounted on the top, on opposite sides (instead of placing the mounts on top and bottom
Answer:	if you want to replace the included rope, then rope made from nylon would be good
Question:	The description says 53 " tall. Is that a misprint
Answer:	Yes you can mount the bike a little closer than pictured but not much. I haven’t seen any system than mounts any closer except to use tire hooks.

Answer:	You can adjust the stabilizer wheels to lock the tire in place.. my bike moves an inch or two side to side but won't fall over.

Question:	What is the range of adjustable distance from the wall to the supports
Answer:	Worked fine for me. Just hung it out where the carpenter bees like to be and they started to enter the holes and dying in the jars. Empty the jar so new ones can enter. Best to hang each year BEFORE the bees start making holes in your other woodwork. Once they establish a home elsewhere, they don't necessary have a desire to make a new one.
Question:	Can I mount on drywall
Answer:	I can't get this stuff to work on any bees or wasps.
Question:	What is the maximum top tube width that the hanger will accommodate
Answer:	I have recently used this for the first time. I have two traps but unfortunately the bees seem to gravitate toward their original drilling locations. The traps have only collected a couple of bees (I did use the lure).
Question:	What is the minimum and maximum range on distance from wall
Answer:	Very hard to predict. I would give a particular trap and location a couple weeks before trying a different location. I've noticed that even with the Donaldson lure applied it may take a few days with the bees not showing interest, but once yoy finally get one there are almost always others that will follow, so don't kill any live bees in the trap, as they will attract others. At a certain point dead bees in the traps don't seem to attract more bees so you should rinse it out. I've seen bees boring holes as low as 2 inches off the ground and as high as the eaves of my covered deck that is 20 feet off th ground, but always in an area that is protected from rain-- usually the bottom edge of boards or the backside that faces inward. Be sure to hang traps securely rather than freely swinging, and as close to an area that they like to bore in, like the aforementioned bottom edge of boards.

Question:	How do I assemble this item? It arrived with no instructions
Answer:	It is very easy to assemble, I too feel the same way but looking at the box and picture online. It will tell you how it is easy to install.
Question:	Does this work for a bike with fenders
Answer:	I don’t see why not. The arm of the bike rack that touches the bike holds either on the top of the frame tube where your seat post goes in to or it’ll hold on directly on your seat tube. Either way would mean it’ll clear your bike fender.
Question:	Does it work on fat tire bikes
Answer:	It only fits the standard size tire. If your tire is fat, more than the size on the description then it will not fit your bike.
Question:	Will this stand work if the bike has a luggage rack
Answer:	i have a trek verve 3 disk (Med) with a rack. The vertical post of the rack has to go thru the rack (remove the top portion install the bike then re-insert the top section) before it will work. However, the post is not long enough. The bike must lean back just enough that its weight distribution will tilt the rack over.

Answer:	They are apart ... I think the holes should be align vertical ! I put the ankers and they are coming off easily ...

Answer:	The metal is very sturdy. The weight of what it can hold will depend a lot more on how you bolt it in or if you hit a stud etc. Summary: the metal is fine more depends on how you install it. I bought these and they have been great. Also work on my Large Mountain Bike.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the space needed for this rack with bikes on it
Answer:	That all depends upon your wall anchors. The brackets themselves can handle any size and weight bike, so long as you’re not hanging a Harley up there.
Question:	is it still stable when you only have a bike on the top rack
Answer:	I use it without being bolted to the floor. I does slide when the moto is moved in and out of the stand, but it is manageable.
