Answer:	I would say it does not install easily on a stud wall. I installed mine on the wide side of an exposed 2x4 and it works great. But the top portion of the hanger is too wide to be anchored into a single stud.

Question:	Do the bikes sway from side to side
Answer:	Hello, it seems that it could due to the areas where there are open sections or holes for adjusting the stand which could allow water to seep inside and rust. It does have a good, thick coating on the outside, but again, it has some areas where water could access. You may be able to maybe use electrical tape to cover those areas once the stand is adjusted for you, just a suggestion. Hope that helps

Question:	Are there replacement hooks i can buy

Question:	Can this be mounted with anchors in drywall, or only in studs
Answer:	It is best to use the provided hardware to go into your studs. However, it can be mounted with anchors in drywall provided you use the correct hardware. We recommend using the toggler brand "snap toggle" with a 1/4-20 thread bolt. Follow the instructions for installing the toggler and use at least 3 per strut. For the 6 Bike rack you will need 6 togglers. Space them out evenly and this should provide the needed strength as long as your drywall is in good condition. Question:	is Not installed too high off the ground is it difficult for kids to take their bikes down and put them away? The kids are ages 10, 13, 14. Thanks in
Answer:	That could be a problem. For an adult lifting and lowering the bikes to and from the rack isn't much off a problem. For children that age it could be difficult. If there are multiple bikes on the rack, you may have to move bikes around a bit to get them all on. Again not a huge problem for most adults but for pre- and early teens it probably would be. You are probably going to have to help them get their bikes on and off the rack for a few years.
Question:	Is the hanger covered with black boot or have foam as shown in video? in my experience the shiny black covers stretch and crack and fall off
Answer:	We do use a black cover that slips over the bottom of the hook. Where you have likely experienced issues in the past is from a manufacturer "dipping" the metal piece into plastisol (liquid vinyl) then heating it to cure it. This dipping process can lead to thin coatings that crack and fall off. Our covers are made in a separate process and are then added to the hook after it is powder coated. Our covers are much thicker (almost 1/8" thick), more durable, and are designed to last a long time. Koova bike racks are made in our factory in the USA from high quality materials. Question:	I bought two in one know how far I should separate them
Answer:	25 lb on solid wood walls, 15 lb on plaster, wallboard and such hollow walls. It's very sturdy. I hung 2 children's plug in chandeliers in my nieces bedrooms with it. We felt it was very secure.

Answer:	Safety for what? It's only meant to hold a certain weight. I wouldn't depend on it to do anything else but hand decorations or house plants by.

Answer:	If you are using a 6.7 cm / 2.75 inch long bolt, you must drill a hole of at least 15 mm for the toggle bolt. If the pointed screw used is 3.7 cm / 1.5 inches, you must drill a hole of at least 8 mm for the toggle bolt.

Answer:	I have 2.5 inch tire and it sits on the outside of the plastic piece when its swiveled. Its kind of like the bottom plastic piece has 3 positions you can put your bike in, left center and right.

Answer:	The anchors that came with it would only hold about 20lbs. I bought some different anchors to hold more weight.

Answer:	No, the hook cannot be changed to the other direction.

Answer:	Don’t know about that specific weight but I have a large mountain bike that has 29” wheels and it works fine. It comes with 4 screws to attach it to the wall. I attached my screws to the wall stud. I believe that if you do that it should be ok. Hope this helps.

Question:	So is this correct there is no height adjustment
Answer:	As long as the rope is. Mine is on a normal size garage ceiling height. I have plenty of rope left over. However, even if it was three stories high, you could just add another length of rope to accommodate it.
Question:	I have two very light Carbon bikes (road and tri). Will having too light weight compromise stability of this stand
Answer:	This doesn’t happen with mine. Try to keep the cords from the pulleys to the bike perpendicular, i.e. avoid angle.
Question:	Can 2 bikes be mounted on the top, on opposite sides (instead of placing the mounts on top and bottom
Answer:	if you want to replace the included rope, then rope made from nylon would be good

Answer:	Yes you can mount the bike a little closer than pictured but not much. I haven’t seen any system than mounts any closer except to use tire hooks.

Question:	Does it need to screw into the wall studs to hold the bike vs. the dry wall
Answer:	I haven't had a problem... I hang my Trek Madone on top & older road bike on the bottom.
Question:	What size drill bit is required for the pilot hole? and size of the anchor
Answer:	It doesn't appear that the mounts will work at the same level up top...perhaps a bit staggered placement may work, depending on the size of the bikes.
Question:	will the friction of install/removal eventually wear on the sidewall of tires? (at least points of install are random
Answer:	I just measured mine and it was 82 inches from the floor to the top. You will need a few more inches to accommodate the bicycle.

Measure your Tire

Indicated size ranges are based on your Actual physical tire width. It's best to go old fashion, get your ruler out and measure the width of your tire.

Finally, select the appropriate Clug size to give your bike the perfect hug.

Size: Roadie

This size is designed to fit Road Bike Tires – small and lean.

If your tire is between 23 and 32mm (1″ to 1.25″) then this is the size for you!

Size: Hybrid

This size is designed to fit Hybrid Tires – comfortable and wide but not too knobby.

If your tire is between 33 and 42mm (1.3″ to 1.75″) then this is the size for you!

Size: MTB

This size is designed to fit Mountain Bike Tires – knobby and ready to shred trails.

If your tire is between 1.75″ and 2.25″ (44mm to 57mm) then this is the size for you!

Step 1: Do you have the right Clug?

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to check that the Clug you got is the right size for your tire.

As a handy guide, we also put the maximum and minimum sizes for each Clug right on the side of the box. Just hold it up to your tire and check to see that it is within the range.

Note: Clug is a tiny bike rack that works with your floor to store your bike. Clug can't Hang your bike, it doesn't work that way and you might hurt your back trying. We wouldn't want that.

Step 2: Location and Alignment

Time to figure out where your Clug is going. Once you’ve found your section of the wall, you can use the alignment guide on the box to get your hole spacing marked precisely.

Holding your bike in the position you want it (you can get a friend to help here), you’ll want to align the position of your Clug with the centre of your wheel, where the tire touches the wall.

Step 3: Drills, Holes, and Anchors

You’ll need to drill some holes if you are putting Clug on anything other than wood surface (or a stud in the wall). To drill, just stick your template lightly to the wall and drill right through the guide.

If you drilled holes, insert the anchors from your box into the holes to give you something to screw into.

Step 4: Screws, Clip, and Grip

Separate the Clipper from the Gripper and screw the Clipper into the wall.

You’ll be able to make small adjustments before you tighten the screws fully, to make sure that your Clug is level.

Snap the Gripper in to cover the screw heads, and you’re ready to Clug!

Question:	How high do you need to mount the rack for an average size bike to clear the floor
Answer:	I can't address this directly since I;ve got 700x35 tires -- but I got the "hybrid" CLUG which is rated for 33-42mm tires so I'm also at the lower end of the range. There's a no wobble, as the thing expands to accept the tire and then closes around it. But there's a bit of slop in how the rest of the bike sits on the ground. I've had it for more than six months now and have never had a problem mounting the bike.
Question:	I have a small garage and need space for my car. Can I add this station higher on the wall so the bikes are elevated when on hook so there is space
Answer:	The instructions say not to use it in drywall... only wooden stud, brick, or concrete. There's not much force on it when the bike is hanging there, but if you have thick tires, it seems like it puts a lot of force on the screws when pulling the bike out of the clip.
Question:	What's the best way to keep tires aligned and minimize tire marks on wall
Answer:	I do not recall which size drill bit I used be cause I simply used a bit smaller in diameter than the screw. This method was sufficient for me to screw it into a wall. The main concern is what kind of wall or surface you plan to screw into.
Question:	Are the wall mount brackets adjustable as well? Meaning they slide to the left and right? Just want to mount it to the stud
Answer:	I've had it for a year, haven't noticed any wear on my tires. I would hope you wear your tires out from riding before the sidewalls from the friction of pulling the bike in and out of the clug.

Question:	Can you mount this through sheet-rock and to the wall stud
Answer:	Mine is mounted approx at head height for me which is about 5'11 and then my 26 inch bike has about 4 inches from the floor to back tire. Now the rack above will be hard to reach so you might want to go down approx 3-4 inches so the top rack will be easier to put things on top of.
Question:	Could you tell me what the maximum widthand depth of the 2 hooks is? Would for example a piece of wooden dowling that is 1.75 inches be able to fit
Answer:	You can add this as high as your garage will allow you.
Question:	How wide are the hooks
Answer:	Tire marks are going to be on the wall! I thought about getting some contact paper or think metal but figured it wasn’t worth the trouble.
Question:	Have the three gold pieces that came with it that includes nuts and bolts. Not sure what they are for
Answer:	The brackets mount to the studs and the bar with the bike hooks can slide left or right. No issues with not being able to stud mount the brackets.
