Answer:	Not far. The top bar has a flat hunk of plastic (an inch or so thick) that must make direct contact with the wall. The legs curve forward a bit, and they probably sit about a foot from the wall, I reckon.

Answer:	Yes, they work well. I staggered heights and spaced them 18" apart. Yes, you have to swing them over to get to one in the middle. Hope this helps!
Question:	What is the widest tire anyone has put on these racks? I have a 29 x 2.4 - thinking it may not fit well
Answer:	It should fit. The back brace, which your tire slips through, is 2 3/8". You might have to push a little... but it should be able to get through it. The holding brace (the one that folds out) is wider so that won't be a problem. The 29" will easily stay in the holding brace. This is absolutely the best way to store your bikes. Easy to set up and easy to slip bike into holder. You just have to have the upper body strength to lift up the front tire. I have two and will never go back to anything else.

Question:	Can you mount this through sheet-rock and to the wall stud
Answer:	Mine is mounted approx at head height for me which is about 5'11 and then my 26 inch bike has about 4 inches from the floor to back tire. Now the rack above will be hard to reach so you might want to go down approx 3-4 inches so the top rack will be easier to put things on top of.
Question:	Could you tell me what the maximum widthand depth of the 2 hooks is? Would for example a piece of wooden dowling that is 1.75 inches be able to fit

Answer:	Tire marks are going to be on the wall! I thought about getting some contact paper or think metal but figured it wasn’t worth the trouble.

Answer:	That could be a problem. For an adult lifting and lowering the bikes to and from the rack isn't much off a problem. For children that age it could be difficult. If there are multiple bikes on the rack, you may have to move bikes around a bit to get them all on. Again not a huge problem for most adults but for pre- and early teens it probably would be. You are probably going to have to help them get their bikes on and off the rack for a few years.
Question:	Is the hanger covered with black boot or have foam as shown in video? in my experience the shiny black covers stretch and crack and fall off
Answer:	We do use a black cover that slips over the bottom of the hook. Where you have likely experienced issues in the past is from a manufacturer "dipping" the metal piece into plastisol (liquid vinyl) then heating it to cure it. This dipping process can lead to thin coatings that crack and fall off. Our covers are made in a separate process and are then added to the hook after it is powder coated. Our covers are much thicker (almost 1/8" thick), more durable, and are designed to last a long time. Koova bike racks are made in our factory in the USA from high quality materials. Answer:	You will probably need to get drywall anchors and screws to install them. I have mine installed on the garage walls but you can locate the studs on the wall it will hold it even better.

Answer:	If the 3 bike system is the same as the 5 bike system I had purchased the answer is “no”. You can ask the vendor directly if they have hooks for beach tires. I ended up returning the system and purchased large hooks which I mounted on a board then mounted it on the wall. It works beautifully. Also the hooks are rustproof.

Question:	What is the range of adjustable distance from the wall to the supports
Answer:	Worked fine for me. Just hung it out where the carpenter bees like to be and they started to enter the holes and dying in the jars. Empty the jar so new ones can enter. Best to hang each year BEFORE the bees start making holes in your other woodwork. Once they establish a home elsewhere, they don't necessary have a desire to make a new one.
Question:	Can I mount on drywall
Answer:	I can't get this stuff to work on any bees or wasps.
Question:	What is the maximum top tube width that the hanger will accommodate
Answer:	I have recently used this for the first time. I have two traps but unfortunately the bees seem to gravitate toward their original drilling locations. The traps have only collected a couple of bees (I did use the lure).
Question:	What is the minimum and maximum range on distance from wall
Answer:	Very hard to predict. I would give a particular trap and location a couple weeks before trying a different location. I've noticed that even with the Donaldson lure applied it may take a few days with the bees not showing interest, but once yoy finally get one there are almost always others that will follow, so don't kill any live bees in the trap, as they will attract others. At a certain point dead bees in the traps don't seem to attract more bees so you should rinse it out. I've seen bees boring holes as low as 2 inches off the ground and as high as the eaves of my covered deck that is 20 feet off th ground, but always in an area that is protected from rain-- usually the bottom edge of boards or the backside that faces inward. Be sure to hang traps securely rather than freely swinging, and as close to an area that they like to bore in, like the aforementioned bottom edge of boards.

Question:	Do the bikes sway from side to side
Answer:	Hello, it seems that it could due to the areas where there are open sections or holes for adjusting the stand which could allow water to seep inside and rust. It does have a good, thick coating on the outside, but again, it has some areas where water could access. You may be able to maybe use electrical tape to cover those areas once the stand is adjusted for you, just a suggestion. Hope that helps

Answer:	I think these stands maybe secured using standard plumbing hardware.

Answer:	Yes, the Bike Rack will mount to any solid surface as long as there is a good anchor for the screws. I would suggest using concrete rated anchors and screws to fasten it to the wall.
Question:	How far does it extend from the wall? What is the max weight capacity
Answer:	The rack arms extend around 14-15 inches from the wall. The racks can hold bikes up to around 50-60 lbs. The biggest factor when it comes to bike weight is not to DROP the bike onto the racks which can stress the metal and weld seams.
Question:	Is it possible to secure this rack to drywall if you can't secure it to a stud
Answer:	Please DO NOT try mounting the bike rack to drywall only... It needs to be mounted to a stud or solid surface. Also, several users have reported their screws stripping or breaking..
