Once I figured out my error it was easy. The only things you really have to put together on this bike is the front fender and tire, the handle bars, seat, basket and cup holder and pedals. If you have a decent set of tools you can do this.

Answer:	My experience is with the 14” bike. Having read reviews with the chain falling off or the training wheels loosening, I first loosened the back wheel. I then put a piece of wood between the frame and the back wheel. I used the wood as a lever to make the chain taut, and then tightened the nut as I kept tension on the wood. I then attached the training wheels. We have had this bike over 4 months, I have never had an issue with the chain.
